Light peaked through the curtains, the small amount unfortunately landing right on your face. But that did not disturb your slumber, at least, not in that moment.

Rain trickled down the sides of the house, droplets rolling down the window and hitting the soil beneath. The sound helping you fall into a deeper sleep then usual.

A calloused hand strokes your cheek, the body heat warming up your cold skin. A small shiver passed through your body and the person beside you wrapped the blanket surrounding the both of you tighter. Not just the blanket but their arms held on to you tightly as well.

A soft kiss was placed on your forehead which made you slowly but surely open your eyes.

As you open them Zhonglis gaze meets yours. A small smile is set on his face when he sees you softly smile. His presence is comforting, how could you not smile.

You let out a small 'good morning' and he says it back. Zhongli holds on to you, head resting on top of your head. In this position you could hear the heartbeat of one of the seven.

You were so warm in that moment, but not in a way that was uncomfortable. Outside was cold, the weather had been like that for quite some time. Rain made it chilly and the both of you were too lazy at the moment to get any other type of heat besides body warmth.

Suddenly Zhonglis grip loosens and he tries to get out of bed. But before he can set foot on the wood flooring, your hand grasps on to his nightwear and holds him tightly to you.

"I dont want you getting a cold darling"

"I dont care"

He tries to get up once again but you stop him, this time wrapping him up in the blanket that was with you and laying your legs on top of his.

"Just stay here with me, okay?"

"Fine, but once this weather passes, we are going on a walk in liyue"

And with that you both made a silent contract for the time being, and rested up together in your cozy home, with no one to interrupt the precious moment you guys were having.
