Thankfully after the gala things remained calm for the remainder of the time Jossilyn was here.  I started getting closer with Katie, Kimber, and Ashley again while Jossilyn was here.  They all loved her and she liked them as well.

However, it did eventually have to come to an end.  She had to go back home, and I had to refocus my attention on the upcoming semester and projects I had on the backburner.

"I wish you didn't have to leave."  I said with tears in my eyes.

"Trust me, babe, I wish I could stay just as much as you.  We can still Facetime, snapchat, text, and talk in other ways.  Plus think of how happy we will be next time we get to see each other."

"I love you."

"I love you too."

"I promise I'm coming to visit on my first break.  I don't even care if it's only a three day break."

Jossilyn smiled and wiped the tears from her eyes before saying.  "I'm not going to say goodbye because I know we will see each other again.  You have designed your way into my heart.  I love you so much Anna."

"I love you too Jossilyn.  More than I even knew was possible before I met you.  Designing may be my passion, but you have my heart.  Be safe, and let me know when you land."

We stood there hugging for a little bit longer.

"Travis, Harvey, I'm trusting ya'll with my girl's life.  I will rip you both limb from limb she steps out of that plane with even so much as a scratch." I said as we pulled away.

Jossilyn chuckled and rolled her eyes, "I'm going to be fine babe.  I love you, I'll let you know when I land."

"Ok, I love you too."

I watched her take off and stayed at the airport for 20 minutes afterwards crying, trying to pull myself together enough to drive myself back home.

Thank you all for reading Design of the Heart.  I wasn't originally planning to end it here, but I have lost my sense of direction for the rest of it.  I started writing this story in October of 2020 and now we are almost half way through 2021.  I might write a second book that would be about Anna and Jossilyn after they are both out of college.  Please let me know if this is something you would be interested in.  I might mess around and start writing one for fun anyway, but I don't know if I'll publish it.
