"Good Morning, Scotts.  How are we all doing today?", the secretary asked as we walked in.

"Great, Kim, thanks how are you on this fine Monday morning?", dad asked as we walked up to the front desk.

"I'm doing good thank you.  Anna, it's nice to see you're back from vacation.  There are a few documents on your desk that need your signature, oh and this girl named Katie called for you last week and claimed to be one of your friends and wants you to call her back when you get a chance."

"Well isn't that nice of her.  I didn't even think that you and Katie were still friends.", my mom said.

"We aren't, this is the first she's reached out since Paris.  I'm pretty sure her birthday was last month or something and she turned 18 so she probably just wants business advice or something.  I don't even know if I'm going to call her back yet."

"Yes, well I was just supposed to relay the message, so I've done my part.  Now, Mrs. Scott a package came in the mail for you early this morning, and Mr. Scott Jack Jennings is waiting in the lobby and claims to have a meeting with you this morning, also your mother called this morning and wants me to remind you that she will need a car at the airport to pick her up at 2:00 this afternoon because she is flying in for a few days."

"Grandma is coming for the launch?  Is she staying for the gala?", I exclaimed.

"Shoot, I forgot about the gala because I've been so busy.  I also kind of forgot that she was flying in today and I haven't found anyone to go pick her up yet."

"Jossilyn and I can go get her later.  I'll just call and have one of the staff members from home bring my Mercedes to the office this morning."

"Oh my gosh thank you so much Anna I owe you one.", my dad said.  "Kim, I am going to my office to meet with Jack and if I'm not out in 45 minutes please come in and tell me that I have another meeting to go to, because I don't want to be stuck in a meeting with him all morning I have other things to get done."

"Yes sir, I will make a note of that right now."

"Want to go downstairs to the Dunkin and get some coffee?  I feel like this morning is going to be a stressful one.", I said to Jossilyn.

"Yeah coffee sounds great."

"Wait, doesn't she need a visitors badge?", Kim asked as we walked away.

"No, she's fine without one, and I believe that she will be with my daughter all week so if anyone has a problem with it you can send them to Anna's office to speak directly with her about it.", my mom said before grabbing her stuff and heading off towards her office.

Jossilyn and I went down and got some coffee, and then headed upstairs to my office.  The first thing I did was call the house and ask them to have my car sent to the offices.  Afterwards I attended to the stack of papers on my desk that needed approvals, and called the offices of the ones that I didn't approve of.  Jossilyn sat in the chair across from my desk and watched me work.

"You don't have to stay if this is too boring for you.  I think today is going to be a mostly paperwork kind of day.  Tomorrow should be more exciting though if you want to wait and come then.", I said after a while of her just watching me.

"Are you kidding me?  My girlfriend is so hot when she is working.  I don't mind just sitting here watching.  Plus I have my phone so if I get real bored I can just play games or something."

I smiled, "Thanks, love, but you really don't have to stay if you don't want to."

"Oh, please if I don't stay who is going to make sure you take a break here in a bit or go to get your grandma this afternoon.  You need me."
