"Okay, here we go. Time travel test number one. Scott, fire up the uhhh... the van thing." Banner said, hitting some buttons. "Breakers are set, emergency generators are on standby." Cap nodded standing just off to our side. "Good. 'Cause if we blow the grid, I don't wanna lose Tiny here in the 1950's." Scott, Nat and Cap give Bruce a panicked look silently. "Excuse me?" Scott asked hesitantly. "He's kidding. You can't say things like that!" She whisper yelled at Bruce. "Just... It was a bad joke." He apologized. "You were kidding, right?" Natasha whispered. "I have no idea. We're talking about time travel here. Either it's all a joke, or none of it is. We're good! Get your helmet on, Scott. I'm gonna send you back a week, let you walk around for an hour, then bring you back in 10 seconds. Makes sense?" Bruce asked. "Perfectly not confusing." Scott nodded with a smile. "Good luck, Scott. You got this." I smiled, walking over to behind the station with Bruce. "You're right. I do, Captain." He smiled.

"Captain are we now?" Steve asked. "Back in the day it was some stupid nickname he gave me." I replied, pushing a few buttons before Bruce hit one and Scott disappeared into the quantum tunnel. "On the count of three. 3... 2... 1!" Bruce said, pushing a button and bringing some teenager back. "Uh, guys? This...this doesn't feel right." The boy said. "What is this?" Steve asked. "What's going on?" The kid asked. "That...who is that?" Nat asked. "Bruce send him back through, the tunnel is pushing time through Scott instead of pushing Scott through time. Scott hang on." I said, pushing a few prep buttons. "Hit it, now." I said, pointing at Bruce and looking up to see Scott get thrown back into the tunnel and jump back out as an old man. "Ow! My back!" He groaned. "What is this?" Cap asked. "Can we get a little space here." I said, looking back down at the board of buttons and switches. "Yeah yeah. Can you bring him back?" Cap asked me.

"I'm working on it!" I said, hitting the button again and watching the quantum tunnel suck up old man scott and throw back out a baby. "Oh dear Jesus." I said, moving around Bruce to grab a notepad. "It's a baby." Cap said blankly. "It's Scott." Bruce said, pacing silently. "As a baby!" Cap argued. "He'll grow." Bruce said. "Bring Scott back!" Cap yelled. "Shut up! Nat when I say kill the power, kill the power." I said, closing the notebook and hitting the button. It sucked up baby Scott. "Kill it, now!" I said, looking up at the quantum tunnel. Nat killed the power and It spat out Scott. "Somebody peed my pants. But I don't know if it was old me, baby me or just me me." He said. I walked over and took his helmet off, checking for any sign of difference. "Oh thank god." Nat smiled. "Time travel!" Bruce smiled, throwing his hands up triumphantly. Steve said nothing. He simply shook his head and walked away. "What? I..I see this as an absolute win!" Bruce smiled. "We have some catching up to do doctor banner, Scott go shower, wash that suit." I said, picking up the notebooks and leaving for the lab With Bruce.

Time skip: that afternoon

"I'm gonna go out, get coffee. I'll be back soon." I said, grabbing my phone and heading out to the garage, getting in my car and heading off. I got to a small town not too far away, maybe 10 minute drive? I parked on the side of the street and walked into a small, local cafe. "Hey, can I just get a small black coffee please." I smiled at the cashier. "For sure sweet thing. No cream on the side of sugar?" She asked. I shook my head, handing her a 5 dollar bill. "Please, keep the change. You surely don't get paid enough." I smiled, walking over to the side to make room for other customers to come inside. "Small black coffee." She smiled, handing me the cup. "Oh thank you, I'm sure I'll be back within the week." I chuckled, waving goodbye as I left. I took a sip of the coffee now put the cup down in the cup holder of my car as I realized that her number was on the side, written in pink sharpie. I smiled quietly, driving back to the facility.

I was almost to the driveway when I saw the classic flashing lights behind me. I sighed, knowing this wasn't going to be fun. My license still had female and my dead name written on it and considering I presented as a cisgendered male, it was often times invasive. Regardless, I pulled over on the side of the road and prepared my license. "License and registration." The cop said, appearing at my window. I opened the glove box and handed him both. "What is your date of birth?" He asked. "Oh, that's not what you guys usually ask. It's the (insert date) of (insert month), 2000." I said. "And your address?" He asked. "43-25 43rd Street and 43rd Avenue, Long Island City." I replied. "Do you know why I pulled you over?" He asked. I shook my head. "We have reason to believe you are involved in gang behavior, I'm going to need you to come back to the station with me for questioning." He said.

"I'm sorry, what gang behavior? I leave my house for work every morning, get coffee and groceries on the way home and that's it. You can take my phone and my passwords and scan those for anything related." I offered, pulling my pocket from my phone and handing it to him. "We will. I'm going to take this and I'll send a squad car back to your apartment if we need you for further questioning." He said, handing my license and registration back to me. I nodded and drove back to the complex, coffee in hand.
