short timeskip because i hate writing action without text and we all know what happens here- 

"let's kill him properly this time." thor said, throwing Johnathan in the air and catching it. "You could not live with your own failure. And where did that bring you? Back to me. I thought by eliminating half of life, the other half would thrive. But you've shown me that's impossible. And as long as there are those that remember what was, there will always be those that are unable to accept what can be. They will resist." thanos spoke, for a walking grape, he talked too much. "Yep. We're all kinds of stubborn." tony admitted. "I'm thankful. Because now, I know what I must do. I will shred this universe down to its last atom. And then– With the stones you've collected for me, create a new one. Teeming with life, but knows not what it has lost but only what it has been given. A grateful universe." thanos called, standing and putting his helmet on. 

"Born out of blood." steve argued. "They'll never know it. Because you won't be alive to tell them." he smirked slightly in response. "oh cut to the chase grape man! let's just kick your ass and win this shit." i yelled, grabbing my swords from my back. i hadn't worn this suit in years, yet somehow it still fit amazingly. clint got the gauntlet and began to run, seeing nebula and passing it to her which resulted in a chase? we had no clue what was going on. "Okay, Thor. Hit me." tony called, thor banged mjolnir and stormbreaker together, hitting tony with a beam of lightning. his suit picked up the energy and shot it out with the unibeam and the blasters. thanos twirled his blade, diverting the energy as thor hit mjolnir at thanos with stormbreaker as he picked up tony, using him as a shield. "tony!" i yelled, running over. Steve tried to attack Thanos but was easily shielded away by the Mad Titan. Thor's attack on Thanos is blocked by his sword as he is beaten and choked by Thanos, as he punches him. Mjolnir is flicked away as Thanos relentlessly beats up Thor, throwing him into a tree and socking him before throwing him over rubble and socking him again. Thor tries to grab Stormbreaker but Thanos grabs it and uses it against Thor as he tries to defend himself. Mjölnir starts to float off the ground while Thanos is digging it into Thor, when suddenly Mjolnir flies into Thanos, zooms past, stops, and flies back, both look on in amazement as Steve picks up the hammer.

"I knew it!" thor yelled.Thanos kicks Thor to the ground and proceed to battle Steve dual wielding both his shield and Mjolnir. he proceeds to charge at Thanos swinging Mjolnir  and hitting Thanos in the face knocking him down. Steve throws his shield and Thanos  deflects, Steve throws Mjolnir to his shield creating a shockwave and knocking Thanos off his feet. Steve goes on the offensive on Thanos, throwing his shield first at him and quickly hitting it back at him again with Mjolnir. He lines his arm back up and underarms a channel of lightning on Thanos.

Thanos eventually gets the upper hand, he removes his helmet, stabs Steve in the leg and knocks Mjolnir out of his hand. Thanos proceed to destroy Steve's shield with his double-bladed sword and throws him across the battlefield.

Steve staggeringly tries to get up. i left tony's side and decided to do something incredibly stupid. 

i grabbed both swords and ran toward thanos, grabbing stormbreaker and tossing it to thor. i stabbed him in the back like an olive with a skewer and ripped my sword from his back, running away instantly. the titan didnt care, watching steve struggle. "In all my years of conquest– violence– slaughter– It was never personal. But I'll tell you now– what I'm about to do to your stubborn, annoying little planet– I'm gonna enjoy it. Very, very much." tnanos spoke, picking up his blade. Thanos' entire army is summons to the ground which include the Children of Thanos, Chitauri, Sakaarans, Outriders and Chitauri Gorillas. Upon seeing the army descending on Earth, Steve slowly gets back to his feet. With a fierce determination, he tightens his broken shield to his arm and stands against Thanos' giant army alone. Suddenly, a crackling comes in on our communicators.
