"Look at me," he began, his voice cracking in the process. "Look at me dammit!"
The tears had already spilled but fortunately, they weren't visible to him. Shaking uncontrollably, his arms were spread.
"Serre-moi dans tes bras très fort, à me fair...

(A/N: look at this handsome jelly bean 🥺)
Jungkook paced back and forth in his living room, anxiously staring at his phone. He was doing it again, he was worrying.
As much as he didn't want to, the thought of something happening to a friend and him being carefree and happy at the time it was occurring was something he wouldn't be able to live with.
The thought of him and Hoseok getting it on while his best friend was getting his heart ripped out from him and eventually getting hit by a truck made him sick.
He felt like he didn't deserve to have fun anymore because if he did, someone got hurt and he couldn't help but blame himself.
Angrily, he threw his phone across the room before grabbing chunks of his hair and pulling it out of rage. Jungkook was sick of this.
He just couldn't comprehend why anytime he tried to just live, something happened. Hoseok wouldn't have wanted Jungkook to worry for him, he wouldn't expect it either.
For the first time in a while though, Jungkook's concern was over the roof. The infinite calls and messages, the pacing, throwing things out of anger...it was all due to his concern for Hoseok.
He stomped towards his phone that had dozen of cracks due to his rage. He clicked the elder's contact name and let it ring, hoping that the ringing would abruptly stop and he'd hear the soothing voice of Jung Hoseok.
Unfortunately, that wasn't the case.
He sighed as he let it go to voicemail before speaking, "Hyung," his voice cracked as he stared at the wall in front of him. He let his tears blur his vision while his lips began to tremble. "Please answer...I know I'm a piece of shit but you can't just up and leave like nothing! Like nobody's going to fuck worry about you! Pick up the fucking phone, asshole." He sighed, shaking his head at his choice of words.
He swallowed nervously before speaking up again, "Please...just let me know that you're okay." His words becoming soft. With that, he hung up and let the waterworks fall.
Pulling his knees towards his chest, Jungkook began to let the negative thoughts enter his head.
What if something happened to him? What if he's dead?
What if he doesn't...what if he doesn't like me anymore? Could he have left cause of me?
Don't be so selfish, Jungkook! Maybe something seriously happened to him.
Could it be his Dad? Why can't the old rat just leave him alone?
He sighed, covering both his hands over his face. Then all of a sudden something came to him.
Hoseok's apartment key.
Jungkook had forgotten the memory of the elder shoving the apartment key in his pocket even though he wanted nothing to do with it since he hated Hoseok at the time.
