Seokjin smiled as he looked down and watched a sleepy Taehyung who's had been laying down under him, his head on his lap. He yawned, not realizing that he had dozed off for 20 minutes."Morning, sleepy head."
"Goodness, what time is it?" Taehyung asked, examining his surroundings and realized that the moon had still been up.
The elder chuckled, "1:34 am."
"And you've been awake this whole time? That's shocking, you usually knock out before me. Especially during movie time."
"I have a lot on my mind to be real with you," he sighed before asking, "Can we talk?"
Taehyung nodded, his eyes fluttering at the touch of the elder's hands on his hair.
" I wanted to tell you about...when I first fell for you," Taehyung softly smiled, looking up at him in curiosity. "It actually wasn't when we were kids. I had feelings for you as a kid, but I wasn't in love with you because I didn't love myself. I was insecure and I was definitely unstable mentally. When I had stopped you on that rooftop a few years after that, I definitely questioned my feelings for you because holding you in arms as you cried into me...It felt so right."
"But that went away when you up and left and I never saw you after that for 10 years. I held so much unnecessary hatred for you because I thought that...I thought you may have felt safe just like I did on that rooftop. I thought maybe I had shown you that even though we had a painful past, I was trustworthy enough, you know? I thought you taking that journal was you accepting my help but you leaving made me believe that you just couldn't be helped. So I thought to just forget you, forget that damn town and leave." Taehyung frowned at the elder's words but continued to listen.
"Next thing you know it's 10 years later, and Im sitting near France's famous bridge and I slip and fall and there you go, catching me. Like I caught you. Saving me like I saved you. Seeing you, as I hung on to dear life was intense for me. You looked older, hotter...you just looked unbelievably ethereal. I fell for you instantly, not because of your looks but because I believed that you came back for me. You came back to give me what I gave you...and that was hope. But I wasn't happy...the intensity of our stares, the realization of it all scared the fuck out of me. I no longer wanted to look at you. I wanted to forget you because I knew if I looked at you any longer I would've fell too hard. So I forced myself to let go...and still your crazy self fell with me."
"To cope with the feelings, I chose to hide them instead and wrote my whole life out in a journal, similar to the one I gave you. I'll never forgive myself for being in such denial and being a dick to you. I was mad at you for leaving but I wasn't that mad, I was more happy to see you in person and not on television for once." Seokjin finished as he watched a smiley Taehyung.
Taehyung sat up and left the couch as the elder sat in confusion. A few seconds later, he came back with a familiar style journal that the elder owned as well.
