Entering his modeling agency was something that Kim Seokjin felt good about. Though it was sudden, he believed that maybe this would take his mind off of his past.
Walking in, he was pretty much stared down by everyone. Newbie models, make up artists, stylists and even the camera people who got distracted by their current photoshoot.
He wanted to be surprised and even a little bit creeped out but this had been normal for him. Though France was quite diverse when it came to race and nationality, a young, tall korean man walking into a modeling agency would definitely catch eyes. He would get called handsome all the time even back in South Korea and he didn't mind at all but his looks never mattered to him as much, as long as he had a good personality that's all mattered.
"Hi, I am here to see Ji Soo Kim," He said in English to one of the assistants who had been gawking at him ever since he came in.
"You must be...J-Jin?" The man stuttered, watching the black haired man nod. He cleared his throat, "Oh yes, come this way. Welcome back by the way."
Seokjin nodded, giving the assistant a small smile. "Thank you."
The man led the way to a small office that he recognized. While on the way there, he passed a waiting room where he was already feeling a whole bunch of nostalgia walking by. He remembered coming here during college after being scouted and sitting in that exact waiting room.
Then as he was waiting, he felt something shaking beside him and look to see a tiny black haired boy who had cat like eyes and tiny lips. That's exactly how he met Min Yoongi.
"She's in here," the assistant informed before leaving. Jin smiled as he entered the room to see a young woman sitting behind a computer.
"Jisoo!" Jin yelled out, startling the young woman.
Her eyes widened upon seeing the tall man. He was older, his already broad shoulders seemed like they just got broader. She noticed a few big tattoos covering his arms and a septum piercing hanging from his nose.
"Yah! Don't scare me like that again...and why the hell do you look so different?!"
Jin chuckled, "Just got older is all, I mean it has been four years."
Jisoo nodded her head slowly, squinting at the elder. Though she was surprised that he even called, he wondered why he decided to come back in the first place. He seemed to be doing just alright.
"Is everything alright, Jin?"
Seokjin nodded as he raised a brow. "Of course, does it look like it isn't?"
Jisoo wasn't going to lie to the elder. After all, she had to make sure if she was going to talk to her boss about him being back, that he was in top notch shape...physically and mentally. She sighed, "If I'm being honest, I'm quite confused. Aren't you a business owner now? Why exactly are you coming back here?"
"Can I only do one? Running my store is fun and all but I feel like I never have anything to do for myself, you know? I love painting and all but I never have time or money to go out and look good. It's always 'I wanna buy clothes but I'm out of paint'. If I don't paint, there's no paintings and if there's no paintings there's no sales and if there's no sales then there's-"
"-No money. Yeah, I get it now. Boss is gonna be happy to find out that one of our best models in back in business. Where's your partner in crime?" Ji soo asked.
"He's just fine but he wanted to quit so I don't think I can bring him back." He told her and she nodded in understanding. Yoongi liked modeling but he really only did it so he could pay his tuition so when it was all finally paid off, he quit and ended their contract. Jin on the other hand didn't quit but took a long break that the agency allowed. He was so well liked that they decided that he could come back whenever he wanted to whether that took either 3 months or 10 years.
"Well that's good. Let me call Boss up and let him know you're here."
Seokjin nodded and smiled to himself. Maybe this was good for him. Modeling could take him places like out of the country...and away from him.
Taehyung decided walking would help him clear his mind. It was that time of the year again where he would have to mourn the loss of his dear friend.
He knew he would get looks just like he got them when walking around in Korea. It was expected because of his attire.
The younger was on his way to his two friends place, ready to do what they had done annually for a long time now. Though they had done it so many times now, they never got tired of it. They knew it would be what Jimin would want though. For them to just sit and spend time with each other.
Even when Hoseok and Jungkook bickered 24/7, the week of Jimin's death anniversary was a time they both knew that they couldn't. Jimin would've hated them not being friends so they felt it was disrespectful.
Jimin loved black but he was a bright person, someone who was always willing to have fun no matter what environment he was in. He never did understand why he loved wearing black all the time though.
So people would assume that wearing black to Jimin's funeral would be something that Jimin would love but truth was...the three of his friends thought it was cliche and bullshit.
So they didn't go to his funeral. The three of them simply sat in Hoseok's house with a framed picture of the younger in front of them and they just talked about him while smoking and drinking because it was something that Jimin himself would do. Not only that, instead of wearing black, they wore white. That would've definitely surprised Jimin.
Jimin loved surprises.
Taehyung sighed as he knocked on the door, awaiting one of his peers to open.
The door flew open to reveal Jeon Jungkook who was all dressed in white as well. "Ready for this?" was the first thing he said to his hyung.
Taehyung sighed, "As always."
