Yoongi smiled as he sat down the next box on the bed, looking around in their newly decorated room. He couldn't help but walk out the room, out into their new living room in their new apartment.

He was ecstatic that he and Namjoon officially lived in an apartment that they could rightfully call theirs. In the living room, he spotted his boyfriend on his knees, looking through a box that had been labeled with black sharpie "LIVING ROOM".

"Babe, what are you looking for?"

Namjoon glanced at the elder, only watching him for a few seconds before answering him. "Vinyl's." Yoongi's bright and widened smile suddenly turned into a slight one. That type of response had been expected.

Ever since Namjoon had spoke, Yoongi knew he couldn't leave him like that. So for the past month, they had been practicing and slowly making their way to Namjoon fully speaking again. Yoongi wanted it like crazy, sure he liked signing and had become 100% fluent in that but being able to hear Namjoon's voice would be something phenomenal.

Namjoon  on the other hand, well he's been a bit hesitant about it. He was in utter shock when it settled in that he actually used his voice, something he never thought would come out again. Signing was something he was just used to, it became apart of him...he didn't know if he was truly ready for such a change.

"Joon," Yoongi sat down beside him before watching him in concern. "I want you to overcome this and the only way to really start speaking again is if you make an effort to and I know you. I know you can do it."

"Hard," Namjoon's voice cracked as he shook his head in frustration. "It's hard."

"I know baby, I know. You have to try for me though, okay? We can get through this together." The elder reassured, softly rubbing the nape of his neck.

"Forgive...me."

Yoongi raised a brow in complete confusion, "For?"

"For..." He sighed, about to facepalm himself but Yoongi had caught his hand before letting it happen. He decided to try again, "For hurting...you." He breathed heavily.

Yoongi rubbed his hand, "It still hurts, Joon. It hurts that you couldn't talk to me. I don't want to focus on that though, let's just put it on hold."

"But..."

Yoongi cut him off by pulling him into a hug. "I'm  so proud of you right now. That's honestly the most you've spoken to me without sign language." Namjoon could only frown though because even though Yoongi is still in his life, their relationship still seems to be rocky as Yoongi only seems to be focused on his recovery to speaking again rather than their already unresolved issues in their relationship.

I'm sorry. Namjoon could only say in his head.
