I'm mute.I'm mute.
I'm mute. I'm mute. I'm mute.
"He's fucking what?" Yoongi thought to himself while his eyes were still glued to the younger's phone. He had many questions, many that he didn't know whether he would get an answer and many that he didn't know how to ask.
Was he deaf? No, it couldn't be, he heard everything Yoongi said. If not, would he just never speak again?
"Im sorry," The same monotone voice was heard. Namjoon watched the elder and his facial expression. He seemed confused, stunned maybe. He hoped his reaction wouldn't be too bad.
Though he was wrong.
"What does that...mean?" Yoongi asked, turning away from him. Namjoon had taken notice of that...he already had a feeling that this might not go well. He let out a bitter chuckle, "I didn't see that on your account."
Namjoon raised a brow. "It didn't seem important...I had no idea I'd actually meet someone on there." The younger didn't like Yoongi's tone, it almost felt as if he was being judged and he had enough of that already.
"So what? You can't speak? Is that why you didn't want to get on the phone?" Yoongi snarled. He wasn't necessarily mad at the younger, he was more mad at himself. Something always went wrong when it came to him and dating.
"Don't get mad at me, I told you I was sorry."
"I need...I need some time," Yoongi flinched at the monotone voice coming from the voice. It was bothersome, he hated it. The voice made him feel as if he was talking to a robot, not a human. Not looking at the younger, he picked himself up and ended up not going back to Seokjin's house but to his own.
Namjoon bit his lip in sadness, not really sure what he was expecting in the first place. That was mostly everyone's reaction anyway and he should've known that Yoongi wasn't any different.
Though he wanted it to be Yoongi...the one to be different. Really really bad.
"I feel like I haven't seen you two idiots since you guys came barging into my apartment," Taehyung started off as he sat down on their couch. Hoseok and Jungkook had been on the other couch and the two had been sitting close to one another. Taehyung definitely needed an explanation.
"Hyungie and I talked and we're okay now," Jungkook said as he smiled at the hyung next to him. Hoseok looked down at the boy who had gotten more comfortable, resting his head on his shoulder and such.
Taehyung honestly couldn't believe it. He had been trying to get them to get along for a decade and he truly believed that he was going to be the one to witness them make up but it was a shame and such a surprise that they were the ones to resolve their problems on their own.
I hate them...they're so fucking weird. He thought as he watched them all cuddled up against each other.
He was happy though...that meant their vacation would be better and much more fun. "It's a good that you guys are getting along...especially because of what's coming up next week."
Everyone became silent after that, all thinking about that date that affected them every year.
"It's crazy...next week will be yet another death anniversary of his, " Taehyung added but tried to remain happy. "Hopefully, this year we can all be together for it."
"We will. Jimin would've wanted that," Hoseok agreed, looking down at Jungkook who smiled softly.
"I know you've come to check on us but how are you?" Jungkook asked, sitting up from Hoseok's shoulder. "With the scandal and everything...I'm surprised you haven't even been talking about it."
Taehyung shrugged. The scandal may be causing a lot of problems back in Korea and yeah, technically he was running away from his problems but the more he thought about it...he was glad the scandal happened.
Being an actor was stressful sometimes, being away from it all for a while was something he needed. It was even better knowing that his next door neighbor was his long time friend.
"I'm just happy to be here," was all he said as he pulled out a bag. "Now are we going to smoke this or what?"
Hoseok sighed, sitting straight and looking intrigued. "Where the hell do you even get trees anyway?"
The grey-haired boy smirked as he opened the bag. "Not that important."
"What about Kim Seokjin? I know we haven't really talked about him. How do you feel about him coming back into your life?" The youngest asked and Taehyung was really confused with all the questions.
"I'm...happy," Taehyung began, as he set down the weed and kept his eyes low. "As expected, he dislikes me and I have a lot to fix between us. He was always just someone to annoy and talk to sometimes back in school but then...he saved my life."
"On the rooftop?" Taehyung nodded.
"He held me and for once in my life...I felt safe, I felt complete, I felt composed," Taehyung paused before taking a deep breath, trying not to let himself get too emotional. "I felt everything."
"It hasn't even been a month yet and you sound like you're in love with him," Hoseok joked but Taehyung didn't find it funny.
He only grinned. "No...but if it were to happen, I don't think I'd be surprised. I've known him most of my life...I've done a lot more with him than you think. What I want right now is to just spend time with him."
Taehyung grabbed his phone and with the thought of the black haired boy swirling through his mind, he decided to text him.
To Jinnie
I'm new in town. Could you give me directions to your apartment?
Seokjin was sitting in his apartment, relaxing before it was time to go to the store and get started on some more paintings.
A lot had been on his mind.
He tried to tell himself that he was well off when it came to money. The store had been doing decent, most days there would be around 5-10 people coming into the store, either to just look around or to buy.
Though he could use some extra money. Sometimes he felt as if he only used the money he had to pay bills or buy art equipment. He kind of wished for money for just himself...to buy clothes and maybe a motorcycle in the future.
His deep thoughts were interrupted when his phone vibrated and he immediately wanted throw his phone in a lake when he saw who the message was from.
He had so many questions. Like how in the hell did that nuisance get his number in the first place and why was it Kim Taehyung's duty to annoy the hell out of him when he got the chance?
He furiously texted the younger back.
To Tae
We're neighbors you fucktard. 😡
Back to those thoughts he had...
The one job he thought of that could give him good cash was something he had done as soon as got to Paris. He had taken a break to pursue art and open up his business but eventually just never went back to it.
He wanted to think and really consider this but he was feeling risky. He desperately wanted something new to do in his life...maybe this was it.
Pulling out his phone, he searched for the contact he kept just in case he was in a situation like this.
"Hello?"
"Jisoo? It's me Kim Seokjin."
The younger seemed excited to hear from Jin. "Kim Seokjin? Wow, I thought I'd never hear from you again."
"Hah, well here I am, " Jin responded, feeling warm from hearing an old friends voice.
"What can I do for you?" She asked.
"Well...I think I want to model again."
