As she closed the door, she glanced at the young boy in front of her who she barely recognized. Smiling sadly she began, "How does it feel to be home?"
Taehyung didn't even take in the surroundings of the 4 bedroom penthouse he bought his Mom, he only turned to stare blankly at her.
He shrugged, "Feels weird," He glanced down at the bag that was in his Mom's hand and gently took it from her. "I'll be in the bathroom.
"Okay honey, I wanna see how it looks after." She smiled more widely but he only gave her a blank stare as he walked away. As crazy as she went over Taehyung and his wildness, she missed the fiery in his eyes. She missed her son.
She sighed, pulling out her phone and facetiming her other child. She placed the phone against a jar right before he picked up.
"Hey," She signed, "How are you honey?"
"I'm good. How are you...with Taehyung and the bills?" Namjoon signed to his mother.
She shook her head frantically, "Don't worry about the bills, everything is handled when it comes to that. As for Taehyung...I just came home with him."
Namjoon's eyes widened, immediately glancing over at Yoongi who sat across from with his Jin's head on his lap. Thankfully the two of them were in their own world. He quickly put on his headphones before responding, "Are you serious? Let me see him!"
"I...I want to but I'm scared. He's so fragile right now, honey. I'm scared I'll break him with one wrong word." Namjoon sighed in understandment. It made sense that she was scared and it was going to take time for him to heal.
"Mom do you think he's going to get better?"
She stood there, honestly thinking about the question. It wasn't something she knew at all, it was only something Taehyung knew but what she did know was that she was going to be there every step of the way.
Physically, he recovered. The accident was bad..extremely bad that Taehyung wasn't supposed to have survive that accident. Miraculously, he did. The recovery was extremely difficult, with two broken legs, one broken arm, a spinal injury that almost left him paralyzed, and a minor head injury...it was the hardest thing Taehyung had to do. He had to be mentally there for him to overcome it and he did. The physical part was fixed.
All that was left was the emotional part.
"Taehyung is the strongest man I know...he will get better. He just needs us to be there for him whether he'll admit that or not." She finally answered.
The two continued to talk for another hour about how things had been over there. She enjoyed talking to Namjoon but she could feel that he was hiding a lot from her...about his personal life and about what Taehyung was doing before the incident even happened...and that wasn't their relationship at all.
