The evening that was once quiet and romantic had turned chaotic in just minutes. No one expected anything to occur near France's famous bridge, especially Taehyung's two best friends.
Jungkook ran a hand through his dark hair as he paced back and forth swiftly, ignoring the people passing by him. Hoseok, who had been sitting on a bench, secretly worried as he watched Jungkook but hid it by burying his face with his hands.
"Jungkook," Hoseok began, taking a deep breath. "If you would just sit down and-"
Jungkook scoffed, as he continued picking up his feet. "That fucking lunatic is always near death! Aish, I feel like I'm about to lose my mind over him."
"I just can't believe he actually jumped in," Hoseok stated, still in shock and disbelief at what happened just 10 minutes ago.
They had just all been walking and having a chat and all of a sudden, Taehyung was running to a certain direction. He was surprised to see him try to save someone and had almost swooned at how quick and observant his somewhat lover was. Though he didn't expect him to cry out for the guy.
He really didn't expect to jump into the lake after him.
Jungkook paused when finally the paramedics were leaving to their vehicles and cleared the view. They both sighed in relief to see two soaked boys sitting on a bench just a few feet away. The two of them weren't holding on to each other for dear life no longer but keeping a good amount of distance between them.
Without thinking at all, Jungkook and Hoseok raced towards the grey-haired boy.
"Taehyung," Hoseok called out, pulling him into a small hug while Taehyung still sat. Jungkook remained in the back, still shaken up. "Goodness, are you okay?"
Taehyung nodded, "I'm fine guys, really." His eyes then diverted to Jungkook. He didn't think his own best friend wouldn't come to hug him and worry over him. He suddenly felt even more upset.
Hoseok's glanced at the figure next to Tae which had been a dark-haired man with broad shoulders looking down at his lap. As he saw just a glimpse of his face, he couldn't help but recognize him just a teeny bit.
"Can you explain to us what just happened?" Hoseok asked calmly but Taehyung only sighed.
"I will," He stated with a reassuring smile. "Can I have a minute please?"
Hoseok nodded slowly while turning to look at Jungkook who was already walking towards the other direction. He sighed before trudging along behind him.
Taehyung bit his lip as he turned to face the one person he didn't expect to see. The one person who saved his life, the one person who opened his eyes.
"I..." He gulped before a breathless chuckle escaped his lips. "You're an idiot."
Seokjin's head lifted swiftly, glaring at the younger. "I don't have time for this. Just go."
"Go where?" He immediately asked without thinking.
"Wherever you came from."
"Are you angry-"
"So what if I am!" Seokjin interjected loudly, causing some eyes who were already on them to focus on them even more. He sighed before looking away from everyone. He opened his mouth, to possibly scream at him and at God for even allowing them to meet once again but nothing would leave his mouth, he truly had nothing to say. His emotions were everywhere, his mind wasn't thinking straight at all. There were so many questions he desperately wanted to ask but he was hurt, angry even.
