Namjoon stared deeply at Min Yoongi, not even realizing hard he was falling for him. He didn't know why he watched him the way he did...he was just in awe of him.
How could someone be so amazing?
The topic was sensitive...extremely sensitive because it changed him as a person and also how people viewed him. He hated his story so much but he was ready to tell the blonde haired boy he couldn't get enough of staring at.
"The story is pretty long...can you keep up with the signing?" Namjoon asked, sitting up so he could completely stare at Yoongi.
The stare was nerve-wracking to say the least...Yoongi had a feeling this story meant a lot to the younger and it must've been an honor for him to be able to know about it. He knew Namjoon for a good amount of time but it had finally been time to look deeper into the boy and possibly see a side he never knew. Yoongi nodded, placing his hand on the younger's knee for encouragement.
Namjoon sighed, refreshing his memories. He could still remember them vividly and how it felt like his voice had been sucked out of him...he remember trying to speak but not being able to...he truly thought something was wrong with him and then he realized...
It was never physical...it was all his brain.
"I was a good kid to say the least...I mean I was 16 and I was excelling in my studies and just being your average nerdy kid that only had like 2 or 3 friends which just so happen to be all my little brother's friends. I lived with Tae, his mom who my dad married, my dad and me and it had been like that for the longest. We all loved each other dearly, there was absolutely no hatred." Yoongi slowly smiled when reading his hands, he could already tell Namjoon had a good childhood and as he signed, his eyes held so much sadness that he desperately wanted to take away.
"One night, It was just my step mom and I. I was helping her with dinner, it was just your ordinary night of us eating. Taehyung had promised that this night he would finally come home on time and help prepare but as usual...that promise was broken. At this time, there had been a little tension between Mom and him...simply because he had become more rebellious. Breaking house rules, coming home drunk, high, or with a new tattoo. Around this time, he was just out of control and acting out. I tried talking to him but he just told me that he's okay and that he loves me...never knew what that meant but I didn't dig deeper."
"That same night, the door had opened and we all assumed it was Taehyung and for 25 minutes...we were in that kitchen while a thief had been taking things from our house. I wished that he was just a regular that didn't really want to cause harm to people unless he had to but that wasn't the case at all. Once my mom saw the man she screamed so loud that I thought the neighbors heard and he threatened to stab us if we didn't cooperate. I tried to fight him off but it was impossible and next thing you know...we're both tied to a chair with rope and tape covering our mouths." The blonde noticed that the younger's hands were becoming more shaky and there was definitely a fight going on with his eyes...he was trying his hardest not to cry. Immediately after noticing that, he began to rub the hand that was already on his knee.
