There wasn't a day where Kim Taehyung didn't smile, there wasn't a day where people didn't gawk or admire him from afar either. Everyone adored him and loved his personality but there was one person in particular who truly didn't see what the hype was simply about.
Only because he knew who he really was outside of school because he saw it right out his window.
Kim Seokjin groaned as he walked out the school doors, meeting with dark clouds and the smell and sight of rain. His car had to have broken down the day before and what was worse was that he didn't bring an umbrella had to get home quickly to shower and go to work.
He removed his backpack from his shoulders. "I guess this will have to do," he muttered before putting it over his head and running through the rain. The backpack didn't help at all since his whole body was soaked and it only kept his black hair dry.
A loud honk had him halt, breathing in heavily before glancing to the side and seeing a familiar dark blue Hyundai rolling by slowly. Once it stopped, the window came down to reveal his neighbor who loved annoying the hell out of him.
"I almost didn't recognize you," he began with a smirk, that damn smirk that Seokjin just couldn't stand. "But I saw those shoulders and I knew it had to be you." He finished as he laughed.
Seokjin rolled his eyes at his laughter. He really didn't have the patience or time for this.
"What do you want?"
"Get in," he said, almost sounding like a demand that Seokjin didn't like so very much. He was just about to laugh in his face and refuse to ever get in a car with him but seeing his situation at that moment, he really couldn't complain. He sighed and she trudged his way towards the car door and slipping into the passenger's seat.
As he started driving, they sat in silence at first until he spoke up. "What happened to your car?"
"Broke down," he answered blankly, eyes glued to his phone.
"I'll take you to school till it gets fixed," he stated which had Seokjin snapping his head towards his direction.
He couldn't help but scoff. "As if I'd let a complete ass like you take me anywhere."
Laughter erupted throughout the vehicle. He glanced at Seokjin for a split second with a raised brow. "Look what I'm doing right now though. I don't know why you hate me so much."
"Because you're Kim Taehyung," with venom laced into his voice he continued, "The guy who everyone thinks is so great but behind the scenes, you're disrespectful to your mother, you bully your older stepbrother and the worst fucking thing about you is that you fuck guys and lure them into thinking you are in love with them and break their hearts just so YOU could feel better."
Taehyung suddenly stopped the car, causing them both to jerk forward. Luckily they were right in front of his small house. He expected him to throw him out of his car and probably punch him to next year but all he faced was a face with hurt splattered all over it.
