May 20th, three months after Nekoma Drug Raid.

Kuroo's POV

"Karasuno's number nine and ten sure are special, aren't they?" Inuoka, our new first year, spoke up as we were cleaning up after our practice match. We had traveled from Tokyo to Miyagi to face off with one of our old rivals, Karasuno Highschool. Our coach and theirs have known each other for very long, and Coach Nekomata agreed to practice against them.

"They sure are. Kuroo, are you feeling alright?" Yaku stood beside me and asked. It's been three months since the ordeal with Kageyama Amber and barely two months since I've recovered and returned to play. I guess they're all worried about my wound from last time.

"Don't worry about it; it's long healed. Hurry up and help the others with the net," I shooed them away and sighed. It's been three months since I've last seen my ex-girlfriend. My heart still gave a painful squeeze every time I remember her.

It took a while for me to move on and step up as the team's new captain. With the help of Kenma, I managed to strengthen my heart by fully focusing on volleyball and training the freshmen.

As I was packing up with the third and second years, Coach Nekomata walked up to us and said something that took us off guard, "As expected of Amber-chan's brother, what do y'all think?" We all widened our eyes, not believing what we just heard. "What? Who?" Yamamoto choked out. My heart did nervous flips.

"Their number nine, Kageyama Tobio," Coach Nekomata flashed us a smile and looked over to the blackhead. He was on the far end of the court arguing with their number ten, Hinata Shoyo. "You knew? Since when?" I asked.

"Well, if you're asking me since when I've known about him, I'd say four months ago. If you're asking since when I've noticed it was him, I'd say since this morning," Coach Nekomata chuckled at the side.

I gripped tightly on my towel, feeling conflicted. Would he know where she was? How was she doing? Did she contact him at all? Memories of her came flooding back in my head and I must've had a painful expression on my face because Kenma slapped me on my back, snapping me back to my senses. "We'll go together," His words were simple and calming. I nodded my head and walked over to the blackhead.

"Hey, number nine," I spoke as normally as possible. He spun his head around and looked at me with his greyish black orbs strikingly similar to hers. I gulped. "Yes?" He answered with a straight face. "I was wondering... if you have a sister," my heartbeat increased, awaiting his answer. He blinked twice, surprised to hear my question.

"I... do. What do you know about her?" He hesitated with his answer, turning the conversation a little hostile. "We... She was in our high school for a while last year. But she left for a job and never heard from her since. We're just wondering if she'd contacted you at all," Kenma followed up with the question with no tremble in his tone.

Kageyama Tobio stepped forward, his eyes shot wide and he inhaled a sharp breath, "No way, Amber-neesan was still going to school? Tell me, where is she? Is she alright?"

Damn it; even her own brother doesn't know where or how she is. Guess we were just trying our luck; we knew she didn't have a stable relationship, given her history. Kenma and I glanced at each other and I decided to reply, "Well, she didn't exactly come to our school for studies... it was more for work. And we don't know where she is now too. That's why we came to ask you. But wait, what do you mean 'still going to school'"?

"What do I mean? Firstly, what was she doing in high school? If she went over last year, she's only fifteen!" The boy spat out. "Fifteen?!" I accidentally shouted in surprise.
