Perrie's POV
Well, the last several hours turned out to be something I would never imagine happening, let alone liking. I can honestly say that I will never in my life forget this vacation. Like ever.
"What do you want for lunch?" I heard Jade call from the kitchen behind me as I laid on the couch lazily, flipping through the channels. I had no idea what in the hell anyone was saying because it was all in another language, so I just watched their faces and made up my own stories.
"Do we have fruit?" I asked softly.
I heard her shuffling for a moment. "Yeah. You want a sandwich too?"
"Sure." I smiled. I felt so relaxed and at ease. Just completely blissed out and beyond satisfied. If she weren't constantly asking me about food and other random things, I'd probably be asleep.
I heard a lot more shuffling before it started to sound farther and farther away. I let my eyes close for just one second. Or so I thought.
"Baby, wake up." Jade said as she shook me. My eyes opened to see her beautiful smile. "Ready to go?"
I yawned and stretched. "Is it time already?" I frowned.
"Not to go home yet. To go to the beach. I packed snacks and blankets for a picnic." She laughed.
"You did?" I asked and she furrowed her brows.
"Baby, where were you for the past 40 minutes while I was making lunch?" She laughed.
"I must've dozed off." I shrugged.
"I thought you were watching tv." She laughed again and tucked my hair behind my ear. "It finally caught up to you, huh?"
"What finally caught up to me?" I asked, furrowing my brows at her now.
"All of my good sex." She smirked and winked.
"Bye, Jade. Please remove yourself from my line of view." I rolled my eyes at her, but she was definitely right. I had no desire whatsoever to leave this couch. And zero energy because of her. Ava and Gaby were fun, but Jade gave me way more than I asked for this morning. I've said it before and I'll say it again. That mouth is a lethal weapon.
She laughed and tugged at my arm. "Come on!"
"Can't we just stay right here?" I whined.
She stood up and put her hands on her hips. "After I just worked up a sweat over a hot stove making you lunch?"
I rolled my eyes again. "Hot stove? You literally cut up fruit and slapped mayo on a slice of bread."
"Still. It's the principle." She rolled her eyes.
I sighed. "You're right. I don't want you thinking I don't appreciate you. Even though it's your fault I don't want to get up."
"No no." She wagged her finger. "I just gave you what you asked for. This is on you. Addict."
I got up and pushed past her. "Let's go, Edwards."
"Can I put your sunscreen on for you?" She smirked at me.
I cut my eyes at her. "You act sooooo innocent. I can see right through you."
"So is that a yes, or..."
"Fine." I rolled my eyes yet again as she clapped excitedly.
The beach was quiet and relaxing, so of course, I was in and out of sleep. We both laid on our blanket, looking up at the sky. The warmth of it all made me so happy. The hot sand beneath the blanket. The hot sun shining down on me. The hot wife next to me who wouldn't be quiet. I couldn't help the smile.
