Perrie's POV

I could hardly hear a word Brittany said over the thumping of my heart. Suddenly, I felt the door open and her hand grab mine. She helped me out of the car and I was hit with a feeling I couldn't describe.

Everything felt perfect. Today was perfect. My life felt perfect. And it was as if my body sensed she was near, because I swear I could feel her.

"Okay, we're gonna walk a bit and you're going to have to take off your heels." Brittany guided me.

"My heels? Why?" I asked, but she didn't reply.

When the sound of my own blood pumping cleared my ears, I could hear rushing water. It sounded like waves crashing, and I could feel the brisk air. It was dancing across my skin, having easy access to it since every hair was already standing.

It wasn't a cold wind, but a comfortable one. I felt my hair and dress flowing with it. The sound of the water put me at ease. I had never felt as good as I did today in my life.

"Okay now, take off your heels."

I did as she said and held them in my hands. She guided me a bit further, and my whole body relaxed as I started to feel soft, warm sand between my toes. I'm on a beach. She brought me to a beach. I don't know how much more of this my heart could stand. We walked for a few moments more and then she stopped.

"You're here." She whispered, and my heart raced again. I exhaled a shaky breath, dying to get to her. Dying to see her. "It was nice to finally meet you, Perrie. You should know that Miss Thirlwall loves you very much. Now, go get your girl."

She removed the blindfold from my eyes and it was instantly replaced with tears. There was so much to take in. So much beauty in front of my eyes, it was overwhelming. I looked down at the white sand, covering my toes and when I looked up, my breath caught in my throat. There she was.

Finally, I'm home.

She was facing the water, with her hands in her pockets, looking into the beautiful orange and purple swirled sky as the sun set over the horizon. Her long brown hair was blowing in the wind and from here it looked like a satin sheet.

She was wearing a white pant suit that hugged her body so well, I was jealous it wasn't me. She looked like an angel.

This is too perfect. Either I'm dreaming or I'm dead. This has to be what heaven feels like.

If I was dreaming, I prayed that nobody woke me up. I started to walk toward her, my body going at it's own quickened pace. The closer I got to her the faster my heart pushed at my chest, threatening to come out.

I looked over to my right and saw that at the end of a deck that stretched over a part of the water, there was a table with two chairs. There were candles and a bouquet of white roses in the middle. My heart stopped and I literally gasped. It felt like it was taking me ages to her.
