Perrie's POV

The next couple of days went by quickly. The weekend was over, and it was back to work for Jade, and little Jaden's first day of preschool.

He and I were starting to get really close, and I loved it. I could see that Jade loved it too. He was the sweetest kid ever.

Of course, I was the first to wake up Monday morning. I was starting to love my mornings now. Something about waking up to the two of them made me feel so complete. Like, they are what I've been missing.

It was a little before 7 am, and they had to be out of the house by 8 if everyone was going to make it on time.

I opened my eyes and saw her laying there. Beautiful as ever. There was no way you could tell me I wasn't born to love this woman. I could just feel it in my bones. In the way my heart burned, just looking at her. I smiled at her.

She was it for me, too. She had to be.

Those calm coffee eyes that were still hiding from me. The gentle rise and fall of her chest. The tiny gap in between her lips as she breathed out slowly. Her gorgeous curly hair, sprawled across the pillow next to mine. And even the little foot resting gently against her jaw.

Yes, you read that right. If this is really what I get to wake up to every morning then where do I sign my name?

After doing some rearranging, we were back in her room. I knew if it felt weird to me, it had to have been ten times worse for her, but she's been okay. I doubt she'd ever sleep in here alone again, but with me and Jaden here, she's slept like a baby the past two nights.

She fell asleep with him in her arms last night and somehow he managed to wiggle his way out, flip himself in the opposite direction, and spread out like he was the only one in the bed.

He had one foot on Jade's face, the other tucked underneath my side, one arm hanging over the edge and one arm wrapped tightly around Jade's leg.

He also went to bed fully dressed yet somehow his shirt and the sock belonging to the foot up against Jade's face were both missing.

Plus, he was snoring. Loudly. And I had an ache in my side because I'm pretty sure he socked me at some point last night. Jade wasn't kidding, he really was a wild one, but he's so cute so who can even be mad at him?

I shook Jade's shoulder lightly.

"Jade?" No response. I shook her a little harder. Still nothing. "Jade!" I shouted and shook her again, even harder this time, almost knocking her over. She mumbled something but didn't move again. I rolled my eyes.

"Jaden. Time to get up, buddy." I shook his shoulder. Nothing.

God, these two sleep like logs. As much as I love waking up to them, I am NOT doing this every morning.

I went to the kitchen and grabbed a pan and a wooden spoon, and brought them back to the bedroom, the pan tucked under my arm for security, and the spoon in my good hand. I tried one more time to wake the two of them up, but I still got nothing.

Alrighty then.

I started banging the spoon against the pan, making an earsplitting noise.

"Ahhh!" Jaden let out a high pitched scream as he jumped up and brought his hands to his ears.

Jade, on the other hand, heard both noises and jolted to her feet, kicking Jaden off the bed and stepping on his Captain America action figure, causing her to slip and fall to the floor.

Such a series of unfortunate events. But as I watched the two of them, identical, stumbling to their feet, curls all over their heads, I couldn't contain my laughter.
