Also, fair warning. This chapter got a bit aka a lot 50 shades as well, so if you like to read this story to grandma at bedtime, you might want to leave this chapter out. 👀
Jade's POV
As soon as the plane touched down, both Perrie and I were the first ones off. That was one long ass ride. We made the most of it though, that's for sure. We also weren't aware that we would need to do a flight transfer to even access the island. That was my bad. I probably should've read. When we got off our last little flight that brought us to the island, both of our bodies were confused as hell so even though it was clearly nighttime, neither one of us were sleepy. Quite the opposite actually. As soon as we stepped off though, we were welcomed and given beautiful flower necklaces.
We both walked through the airport with our eyes wide. Even the damn airport was beautiful.
"Jade, this feels like a dream." Perrie whispered in awe.
I smiled at her as we continued to walk. She pulled me up to one of the large openings to see the gorgeous blue water.
"Um, babe, how are we supposed to get to our room? We're surrounded by water." She asked, eyes still roaming the water outside.
Good question. I'm sure there was something I should've read about that too. I looked around and saw an employee walking by. Grabbing Perrie's hand, we ran up to her.
"Excuse me miss. We're staying at the Four Seasons Resort. Can you tell us how to get there?" I asked and the woman looked at me like I was speaking gibberish, which to her I probably was.
"People here don't speak English, do they?" Perrie asked. "This should be interesting."
I rolled my eyes at her and looked back at the confused woman. "Nous restons au Four Seasons Resort. Pouvez-vous nous dire comment y arriver?"
We are staying at the Four Seasons Resort. Can you tell us how to get there?
I saw Perrie's jaw drop out of the corner of my eye.
The woman smiled widely and nodded. "Oui! Il y a un ferry qui vous y emmènera." She pointed to a row of moderately sized boats docked outside. "Recherchez le nom de votre hôtel."
Yes! There is a ferry that will take you there. Search for the name of your hotel.
I smiled. "Je vous remercie!"
Thank you!
I turned and grabbed Perrie's hand, who was still staring at me with her mouth wide. "Close your mouth, love. Come on. There's a boat over there that will take us to our resort."
When we found the ferry to our resort, Perrie and I went all the way to the top and sat down. I looked all around me. The weather was beautiful and the water was breathtaking. It was one of the bluest blues I'd ever seen. Only second best to my baby's eyes. Eyes that so happened to still be glued to me.
"Why are you staring at me like that?" I asked, thumbing through a travel pamphlet I picked up.
"What in the hell was that?" She asked.
"What was what?" I looked up at her and furrowed my brows.
"Don't play dumb with me. What language was that?" She asked and I smiled.
"French. The language of love, baby." I winked and she hit my arm.
"Since when do you speak French, Jade?" She asked.
