I unwrapped my presents on Christmas morning excitedly, but careful not to rip the shiny paper. Inside was a heavy cardboard box.
"Open it up," my mum smiled, still in her dressing gown.
I peeled off the sellotape on the edges and folded the sides out.
I let out a quiet scream. It was an pink iPod speaker. I pulled it out and set it up, playing out all the Christmas tunes.
The rest of my presents included new clothes, vouchers, DVDs and a handbag that I'd wanted for ages.
I gave my mum her present and watched as she unwrapped it and squealed in delight. It was a silver necklace and matching bracelet.
After I'd finished up my dinner I went to bed and slept it off, drifting into a pleasant sleep.
