I couldn't tell what was louder now.  Either the aching growls of my stomach that punished me for not eating still, or Hanji's deepest apologizes shooting out from her office, to Levi.

Shortly, I caught a glimpse of Levi from behind the stairwell's seal. his lips moved feverishly as his legs remained frozen. As the hand holding the door handle slid to my left, I stepped back from the opening.

" I need to find F/N, to talk about training." He reasoned.

" Okay okay! Again, I'll make it up to you however." The door slammed fast as she held tightly to a bottle of cleaning fluid.

The door's weight pushed forward as Levi turned to the next hall over, I assume that he thinks I was back in my room. Lucky for me, the door locked shut and I began to run directly down the jagged stone without any assumptions of him finding me here.

It's unlikely breakfast is already even being cooked, and if that's the case I can find my way around the halls just fine. My feet felt light as I trailed down the steps, eager to get closer to each mounted torch as ambers of ash soared from the dancing flame.

The wood sticks with flames at their tips reminded me of racing down these stairs with Levi.

The echo of constant clicks began to slow as I calmed my mind.  Breathe, just breathe.

" Ok, here we go." I spoke myself out of the silence, hearing the sound of pots stirring from the open doors of the mess hall. My neck extended to look further inside, from here it was hard to even make out any faces in the kitchen.

The corner of my lips pointed a smile, my stomach starting to ease as I fixed my frilled hair. A familiar aroma grew closer and closer as I stood near the opening to another hall, my leg lunging forward to get even closer.

I was ignoring anything around me as I watched a man tapping a utensil to the side of a wide pot. Unconsciously, my legs dragged to the middle of the hall as I could almost feel the sensation of eating on my taste buds.

While I stood there so dazed, A door cracked open like someone just threw an axe through it. Before I could even see his hair, I watched through the fading dark hall as light pants with scattered stains began to approach.

Part of me wanted to stay. But the bigger voice inside me nearly screamed at me to leave. It wouldn't be worth it to just stay there and see his ignorant face again on my day away from him.

I didn't know where I was running, but gosh were the halls downstairs so dark and cold.

 Surely their bathrooms aren't too far down, I hoped. My breath began to shake again, wondering why he seemed so eager to search for me like I was a mouse, trying to run away from the trap;

Which was Levi.

In a way it was thrilling. But only sometimes, because right now he was driving me away from being able to go eat just because of his own temper.

It could be hit or miss. They may have no bathrooms down this specific hall, and in that case I might as well hurdle in a ball and act like I didn't hear him when he suddenly found me.

I could almost hear him turning the corner as I felt a familiar bolted sign on a significantly large door, not making out the text as I jerked the handle.

Not so gracefully I collided to the door and fell inside, my ass hitting the floor as I extended my arm out desperately to shut it in time.

I crossed my fingers that it wasn't too loud, while my eyes shut.
