I kept the two papers Levi gave me in my bedside table. Our training regimen is one of the pair, and the other was Erwin's selection of Cadets for the both of us to study up on. The pages listed information on them that was brief, and could already be disclosed by looking at them.

I recognized three of the names, but I had never heard of all the others.

Mikasa Ackerman, Jean Kirstein, and Eren Jaeger. Of course I had known Eren from the short time period he resided under the Scout's watch, and Jean Kirstein from our unplanned meeting earlier on. Mikasa, while I didn't know who they were personally, the last name was the same as Levi's so they must be related in some way.

When it comes down to what we'll start off with, I'm unsure. But all I know is it will be certainly interesting, I've never had to be team captains with someone like it were a joint effort game of dodgeball.

Hanji has continued to constantly warn me about him, too.

My mind raved all night at the past few days, and I couldn't seem to let myself rest from the scenarios I had been thinking of. Beside me, the thin walls let me hear someone's steps rattling on the wood floors. Why would anyone be up at 4 o' clock already?

I shook my head out of worries before shutting my eyes tight, veiling my sheets over my eyes to keep me from getting up again. At this rate, I should just stay up and avoid being late.

A faint knock landed at my door, but I initially mistook it for noises coming from the dorm next door. I jumped out of my blankets and walked towards the door, stretching my arms back, in less than a minute after another knock.

I swung the door open a crack, relieved I wasn't met with Levi's monotone face. With a sigh, I peeked down the halls to check if anyone else was up.

" Sorry for waking you up, nobody else would answer me but- Do you have any cloth or bandage?" Jean stammered.

" Yeah, I do! No need to apologize, I've been up all night." I opened the door and slid to the side, letting him in.

It felt off from the start when I let him in, but maybe it was because of how early it was, and how late it seemed to be.

" You can sit right there." I pointed to my mattress, trying not to worry about my messy sheets as he sat down on them, lying out his arm.

I grabbed my small bag that held inside a few bandages and other tools. I also grabbed a glass of water I had from earlier, and a few cotton pads as he watched me.

" Here," I sat next to him, grabbing the water and soaking a cotton pad. " This might hurt, but just hold on to my arm.

I don't know what he was up to, but he must have scraped his arm on something sharp to cut it like this. The blood on his upper arm was fresh, but he seemed calm.

I'm not one to get jittery at the sight of others blood, but when it's coming from me I naturally feel panicked. Taking a deep breath, I held the pad to his arm below the scrape.
