Steam filled the room like I was floating through the clouds in the sky.
My mind spiraled as my legs tightened continuously. I had been sparring with Jean now, and he was pretty tough. Not as hard as it was facing Levi off, though.
Many flecks of hot water crossed my face as I outlined my journal from these past few days.
Wednesday I hadn't even touched the book. After Levi and I faced each other off in my doorway I was too drained to write it all down on pen and paper. But, I still remember it all too well from his simple words.
Thursday; Training was good, not much to cover. Levi hadn't shown up at our table today either. Not a single meal with us. I don't think he even came downstairs (Not surprised?)
Friday; Boring.
Saturday; Slept in too much, remember to look for games before Wednesday!
Sunday; I Got a bit more sleep, haven't seen Levi around.
I lathered shampoo in my hair while trying to remember what I wrote for yesterday. In all honesty, I was just really glad right now that Hanji is letting me use her shower while training just ended.
Crowded bathrooms are the worst, and it's rush hour after training.
The only day that stands out in my mind was Monday, and it wasn't much more fascinating than the previous entries.
" Levi was a no show today, for both training and our meals." I barely let out the words under the running water.
Today wasn't promising much either, since he had already been gone still. What was he doing in his office? Well, that's where I assume he is. At least Levi's been consistent.
I didn't want to jump to conclusions, but it definitely felt off between Jean and Levi. Jean has been around me more since Levi has trailed off, and become more participating with many things.
It is pretty nice, but I've become more aware of the way Jean's face turns when I bring Levi up outside of training. Sometimes I would even just say his name while we walked back from training and focus only on his shifting looks at me.
It's almost like he had something against Levi.
No, Jean has no reason to feel like that towards him. It must just be something else.
" Hanjii!" I yelled out the gap of the shower curtain as her voice pitched up and down above mine. I couldn't seem to find my towel, I swear I brought it with me. My clothes were right beside me instead.
" What is it?" She popped her head through the door as I shut the water stream off, covering some of my nude self with the thick curtain.
" Have you seen my towel?" My eyes scurried around the tile while she faded from the many funnels of steam in just one blink.
" Here!" Hanji ran back inside with it as she began to the coffee table. She must be practicing for something like a presentation I assume.
I ruffed the cloth all over my hair, and ringed out excess water before throwing some of my clothing on. Water continued to slowly trot down my cheeks, creating a look of tears coming from my eyes.
The past few days were flat out uneventful. I need something, in fact anything to make it interesting around here. I'd even say I'm desperate for it. Even after training, I so badly felt the urge to knock on Levi's door and ask him where the hell he had been.
