Everything went to shit the moment Amity was attacked. I ran out to the landing bay with Ruby, where an Atlesian General was loading students onto a airship. My team ran up to me, Ranger throwing a call sign out for us.

"RHSN, rally up!" She shouted.

I turned to Ruby and held her shoulders.

"Go with the others, where it's safe. I'll find you when this is all done," I pleaded.

"Ok, just remember what I said," assured Ruby.

I kissed her forehead, before joining my team. It's not my fault...

"General Ironwood is gonna need some help getting his airship back, I volunteered us for the mission," said Ranger.

Samuel racked the bolt on his Stinger, giving a very cocky smile.

"Ready for action Ranger," assured Samuel.

"Good, let's go!" Ordered Ranger.

I turned to follow the others towards Ironwood's aircraft, but Ranger stopped me.

"Halcyon, you good?" Asked Ranger.

I couldn't bullshit my way out of this one, but that did t mean I was t going to try.

"I'm fine, let's get this done," I said.

Ranger could tell I was worried, and that I was afraid of everything now.

"You're ok Halcyon, you need to calm down," said Ranger. "This isn't you, and you need to focus on our mission."

I nodded as we loaded onto Ironwood's aircraft. I sat down in the rear hold filled with Atlas battle drones. It's not my fault...

"What's our plan General?" Asked Ranger.

I looked up from my hands to the sound of metal moving. The drones had begun aiming their rifles into the cockpit, with red lights in their heads instead of blue.

"Watch out!" I shouted.

I tackled the drones next to the door as they fired into the cockpit. The controls exploded, as the airship careened towards the ground.

"We're going down! Brace for impact!" Shouted Ranger.

The sounds of a building being smashed filled my ears before I was dazed beyond belief. I couldn't remember much, but I remember hearing Ranger and Ironwood shouting out orders, guns firing in all directions, and someone dragging me. When I finally came to, I was in a building with Ranger, the girl trying to get me back to my senses.

"Halcyon, are you alright? Can you walk?" Exclaimed Ranger.

"Yeah... yeah I'm fine," I said.

Ranger helped me to my feet, handing me my shotgun.

"Go around the side of the building into the alley, flank the Grimm!" She ordered.

I tore through the side door into the alleyway. As I made it to the middle of the walled off alley, Ranger's voice came over my radio.

"Halcyon! The Grimm know you're there! Get out of there,"

I stopped dead in my tracks, my heart pounding in my head. The Grimm knew I was there, my semblance was drawing them to me. Ruby's words echoed in my mind, but brokenly. It's... not... my fault... it's... not...
