Halcyon's POV

I'm such an idiot. My leg was broken when Yang tried to kill me and then to top that all off, Ruby and I were captured and are now being held by the White Fang. As Ruby finished tying a tourniquet around my leg, one of the White Fang soldiers threw a pair of cuffs back on her and tossed her aside.

"Touch her like that again and I will rip your damn throat out!" I shouted.

"Shut up!" Said the soldier.

I fell on my face in pain as the soldier smashed his rifle stock into my diaphragm.

"Halcyon!" Exclaimed Ruby.

She came over to me and helped me back onto my knees. The two White Fang Soldiers stepped aside as a man with red hair and a white suit holding a cane came up to us.

"How are the prisoners doing?" Asked the man.

"How about you get these cuffs off me and we'll find out," I said.

The man scowled, swinging his cane at me. My head was pounding from the impact, but that didn't stop me from being an ass.

"You call that a hit?! My mother swings harder than you do!" I laughed.

"You should watch your to mouth before I tear your jaw off!" Threatened the man.

"You can try, but that won't stop me," I sneered.

The man took my hair in his hand and held my head up. He flicked out a switchblade and put it against my throat.

"That's enough Roman," said a man in all black with a sword and a white mask.

Roman let go of me and turned around.

"Adam, why is this sorry excuse for a huntsman needed for the plan?" Asked Roman Torchwick.

"Because she said so. His semblance is a very real asset to us," said Adam Taurus. "You've had your fun, now we have more important matters to attend to."

The two men left, leaving only the guards to watch us. I looked over at a table near us and saw my shotgun and Ruby's sniper. The men who captured us either don't know how I fight, or are just stupid, because my chain was still on my back. I reached my arms behind my back, catching the guard's attention.

"Hey, What are doing?!" Demanded the guard, aiming his rifle at me.

"Chill out dickwad, I'm just itching my back," I sneered.

The guard hesitantly lowered his defense. Perfect. My chain connected to the magnets on my wrists and I quickly flicked the chain at his throat, slicing it clean open. The other guard aimed his gun at me but I was too fast. My chain slapped his rifle away before I swung it across his face. He fell to the ground with a large gash on his face. I struggled to stand up, but powered through it and limped over to the table. I unlocked my cuffs and went to grab my shotgun, but the guard I struck in the face spun me around and pinned me to the table, his hands around my neck. The contents of the table went everywhere, from shotgun shells to sniper bullets, it all went to the ground. I grabbed onto the Faunus's wrists trying to pry his hands from my neck. The edges of my vision were getting dark, and even my own grip was loosening. A rock smashed against the man's head, giving me enough time to reach for the handgun at his side. As he pushed Ruby away, his focus shifted back to me as I put the barrel of the pistol in his face. I painted the ground behind him with his brains, letting the body fall to the ground and taking long and deliberate breaths.

"Are you ok?" Asked Ruby, walking up to me.

"I'm fine," I said.

I turned around and grabbed my shotgun, before unlocking Ruby's cuffs.
