Best men

Lin's pov

The wedding is in one week! I am Daveeds best man and Groff is one of Oaks best mans. I have been organizing their bachelor party for a few weeks now, with the help of some of the other groomsmen and bridesmaids and I think everything should be ready for tonight. We're going to a karaoke bar and we're going to get absolutely wasted. Then we're going laser gaming after that we're coming back to my place, where everything is decorated with little penises. I've got penis cookies, penis shaped straws, everything penis.

Sebbie took one look at them and decided he quite liked the shape. He giggles every time he sees it and he prefers everything to be in that shape now. The other day he wanted his pancakes in the shape. Groff decided it's an absolute disaster that Sebbie is so obsessed with it. I think it's kinda cute, it's not like he knows what it means.

"You ready to rock n roll" I ask Groff, a smile lighting up my face. He looks absolutely beautiful in his pink shirt with penis cartoon. We got a shirt for everyone and for Daveed and Oak, two crowns and sashes. "Hell yes" Groff giggles, giving me a kiss. We pick up Daveed and Oak and go to the karaoke bar where everybody is gathered.

"LET'S GET DRUNK" Groffy yells. "I call first song" I yell, running to the microphone. I do a rendition of 'tequila' on the karaoke machine. I see Groff laughing his ass off in the audience after the second time I say tequila. After I get off stage, Pippa gets on and performs a slow romantic song for Daveed and Oak. I pull Groff unto the dance floor and we begin to slow dance. I let my forehead lean against his, as my ears get filled with Pippa's beautiful voice. I put my head against his chest and feel the peaceful beat of his heart. The song ends and I break our embrace. We get a drink and get slightly buzzed while Daveed, Oak and Renee all perform some songs.

Chris and Leslie get on stage and perform a rock song. Groff begins to rock out and he looks too hot, his muscles tensing up when he imitates a guitar solo and his short brown hair flinging everywhere. I feel a certain kind of hunger growing and I tap him on the shoulder, breaking him out of the dance trance. "What's up" He yells in my ear. I don't reply, instead pulling him along to the bathroom....

Groff's pov

"Groff where are you, we need that angelic voice of yours" I hear Daveed yell as he walks inside the bathroom. I quickly pull up my pants and walk outside the bathroom stall, closing the door so he can't see Lin. "I'm here let's do it" I reply, hoping he doesn't notice my blush, ruffled hair, sweaty body and the fact that I am slightly out of breath. "All right, let's go. Sing 'don't stop me now' or some shit" He says, obviously buzzed, pulling me along by my shirt.

After another half an hour we leave the karaoke bar and go laser gaming. I am determined to beat all these people. I get in a team with Daveed, Chris, Jazzy and Renee. "All right, let's kick some asssss" I yell, hyping my team up. We storm into the battleground. Let me tell you something, laser gaming when you are slightly drunk, is fucking awesome. I go full action hero on them. I shoot everyone several times, but there is one worthy nemesis among them. Lin, every time I get close to shooting him, he disappears.

Right now, I am closing in on him. The red fluorescent lights, making it a bit harder. I suddenly feel a gun in my back, against the hard plastic of the harnas. I immediately recognise the breathing as Lin's "Lin, I was looking for you, I couldn't find you. I was scared" I say in a sad voice. "Nice try Groffy" he giggles, but he still hasn't shot me. "I fell on the ground and hurt my knee" I choke out, making it seem like I am really hurt. Lin walks around me, so he can face me. I fake cry and Lin takes pity on me. Just as planned. He pulls me into his embrace to comfort me. I pull out my gun and shoot him right in the back. 🎶Pedeepepe🎶 it sounds from Lins harnas. "What. No fair" Lin pouts. "All is fair and love and war, babe". I say giving him a kiss on the lips. He fake pouts for a bit more, but I keep on kissing him and soon enough he starts giggling. Lin was the last one from the other team, we won in a landslide. I high five Chris and pull Jazzy into a hug to celebrate our victory. We make our way over to our house and get even more drunk, while feasting on the penis shaped cookies and drinks.

Time jump to wedding (brought to you by Hercules being the flower girl)

I stand beside Anthony and Daveed, waiting anxiously for Oak to walk inside. I look around the audience, my eyes glancing around I suddenly stop when I see Daveeds parents sitting three rows in. I tap on Daveeds shoulder "Your parents are here, third row" I whisper. Daveed looks up and a smile brighten his face, lighting the whole room up. "Who did this?" He whispers back, I shrug my shoulders "I don't know" I whisper back, seeing Lin giggle behind Daveed. What is he laughing about... I shrug it off, the music is starting, and Oak is walking down the middle isle. His white suit, almost the same a Daveeds one. The official starts talking for a long time, until he finally gets to the I do part. "Do you Daveed Daniele Diggs take Okieriete Onaodowan to be your lawfully wedded husband, trough sickness and trough health?" The officiator asks smiling. "I do" Daveed smiles, tears in his eyes. "Do you Okieriete Onaodowan take Daveed Daniele Diggs to be your lawfully husband trough sickness and health" the officiator asks. "Yes yes I do I do" Oak replies, crying his eyes out. I tear up a bit too. "You may now kiss each other" we hear and Daveed and Oak lean forward, kissing each other intensely. "Whoooooo" I cheer along with everybody, clapping my hands together.

Lin's pov

We are sitting at one long table, waiting for dinner. I see Daveed saying goodbye to his parents from the corner of my eye. I smile contently, I didn't think they would actually come after I called them the other day. Daveed returns to the table, sitting down next to Oak. "They didn't want to stay for the party. Baby steps" he says smiling, leaning in to give Oak a kiss on the cheek.

Oak parents are sitting on Oaks other side. "LET'S EAT" Oak suddenly cheers, grabbing the chicken that was laying on a silver platter. He cuts it up and distributes it. After he sits back down, he takes a bite, apparently he thinks it's too bland "Could you pass the salt, daddy" he asks extending his hand. Daveed and Oaks father reach for the salt at the same time, their hands both around the salt. I choke on the piece of chicken I was eating, I spit it out and try to stop myself from wheezing. Oak and Daveed both colour a dark red. I see Oak's dad wink "I didn't know you had another daddy" he jokes. I suppress a giggle as I look over to Groffy who is trying to hold his laugh as much as me. I look into his eyes and we both start laughing. Oaks dad laughs along with us and Daveed and Oak start slightly giggling to. It takes me 15 minutes to stop laughing, tears running down my cheeks.
