I was wearing a flowy dress and my long curly brown hair was in braids. I was in the field of flowers in my childhood. My short childhood. The field of flowers was beautiful. I still remember how beautiful it was. I looked around and noticed that someone was standing next to me. Someone I never knew before.
"Hello, I'm Calypso, who are you?" I asked her. She was weird she looked so scared. I looked closer and saw that she was bruised, who was she? Was she a demigod?
"Please help me, goddess?" She was pleading for my help. Where was she I needed to find her? Where in the world is she?
Suddenly I was no longer in the field, I was in a sketchy alley the girl was on the ground looking at monsters. She was being attacked by monsters. I tried touching her but I kept going through here. Where the hell is she? I need to find her before they kill her. I looked around and saw some familiar buildings. I looked up at the sky hoping to find the Empire State Building. Then I saw it the building was a few streets away. I looked back that the girl and saw her trying to find a way from the monsters, trying to hide from them. Calypso you need to open your eyes.
I jolted out of bed I couldn't let this poor girl die. I can't anyone of my children die, the demigods don't deserve this. I transformed into a pair of clothes and ran out the door running towards the alley she was in. I started running street through the street, when I finally saw it, the alley. I ran inside and still saw the monsters. I made a sword appear out of nowhere and with one single blow they were all dead. In front of them was the poor little girl hiding in a corner.
"Oh my titans, you still here. I thought I would find you dead. I came just in time" I sighed making my way toward her. I made new clothes appear out of nowhere.
"You are going to be okay kid, I'm here to take you to a demigod camp, "I told her. She looked up at me surprised, she was surprised someone came to save her.
"Who are you?" She asked looking at me in awe. I walked up to her and handed her the clothes.
"You did pray for me to come and save you didn't you," I asked her. She was surprised, she stood up quickly and bowed.
"No need for that kid, I'm nothing like the rest of the Olympians. They are horrible parents" I said looking at her. I sighed and rubbed the back of my head.
"Follow me, kid, you need to get freshened up before I take you to the demigod camp". I turned to look at her and saw that she was scared.
"I'm not going to hurt you, I had a dream about you praying for me, I didn't want you to die so I saved you. I am the goddess of demigods its my job to help demigods" she slowly came closer. I started walking out of the alley towards my apartment. Once there she was on guard. I could sense her emotions. She was staring at everything. I looked at her and smiled.
"You're going to be okay kid, no one will hurt you now that I am your goddess." I looked at her and saw that she was now calmed down a little bit.
"The restroom is on the left take a shower and I'll take you to the camp". I walked away and went into the kitchen. She must be hungry from all that running. I made a quick snack and right when I was done she appeared in the kitchen.
"Here you go kid, you must be hungry," I said handing her the food. She grabbed the food and literally shoved it into her mouth. How long has she gone without eating? I sighed and served her another plate. After she was finished eating she was calm and ready to go to the camp.
"Come on kid, I'll take you to the camp," I said looking at her. She looked at me scared. Why is she so scared?
"You won't be hurt, that camp was built to protect you demigods. Monsters won't get you there". She slowly got out of the chair she was in and walked towards me. I grabbed her hand and in a second I teleported into the middle of the demigod camp. I was on high guard because I don't know how they would react.
When we appeared it was already morning, we appeared in the middle of the camp, and there we demigods everywhere from all ages. When they saw us they took out all sorts of weapons.
"Put your weapons down," a voice said. When I saw the source of the voice I immediately knew who it was. It was Chiron's trainer of heroes.
"This is your goddess, she is Calypso goddess of Birds and the sky, daughter of Kronos and Rhea, goddess of peace and time, and the goddess of heroes and demigods". I rolled my eyes, I hate being announced like I'm important.
Without saying anything the demigod put their weapons away and bowed in respect. I rolled my eyes and walked towards Chiron. The kid followed behind me.
"I found the kid being chased by monsters, I just came to bring her here," I said looking at him blankly.
"Here you are kid, welcome to the camp". I walked away from the people and was about to leave when suddenly I hear a familiar voice.
"Goddess!". I stopped in my tracks and turned around. That dang kid. Running towards me was Angel, the annoying kid.
"What do you want kid," I said looking at him. He stopped in front of me. He looked happier. He was cheerful, totally different from when I first meet him. He cut his hair and he got some sleep. He looked overall different. He no longer looked like my Zeus and more like a kid.
"Why do you call everyone kid," he asked. I ignored the question and decided to change the subject.
"How is the camp treating you," I asked looking around the area. I could see cabins, everyone was different from the other one. One was bright like the sun and the one right next to it was blue and it kind of reminded me of the moon. Altogether there were twelve cabins. But in the middle, they were building a new cabin. It was modern compared to the others. It still looked like a Greek temple just new.
"What is that?" I asked the kid. He turned his head to the new temple-like cabin and smiled.
"That's your cabin, if you have demigod kids, that would be their cabin". I blushed, like what the hell? Now that I'm an Olympian they are building me a cabin because they think I'm going to have kids.
"I'm sorry but that's not going to happen because I never had kids," I said looking at him. He didn't say anything and just looked at the cabin. I looked at the cabin and smiled how do these people know I exist? I was nameless a day ago and now they worship me because I'm their goddess.
"Well kid I have to go back home, I have other things to do," I told him. Before I could leave I saw Chiron walking towards me.
"Goddess, can I talk to you about something. I have to do something to do with the demigods". his facial expression was sad. What is going on with the demigods?
"Alright, Chiron." Next thing I know I was sitting in the office of the big house. I was looking around and saw all types of maps and writing all over the room. Some on the floor and on the walls.
"Goddess Calypso, we are having troubles with the demigods". I looked at him worried, for some reason I was worried about the demigods like they are my own children.
"What is happening with them"I asked concerned. He looked at me weirdly. He might not be used to a god caring about demigods.
"Well, each year there are fewer and fewer demigods finding their way to camp," Chiron said looking distracted.
"When I save the kid from the monsters, there were three hellhounds after her. Maybe the monsters are killing them off slowly" I told him. I was looking around and saw that Chiron was thinking the same.
"Well, I'll be working on how I could save as much of demigods as I can. I don't want to let down these kids like their parents did. I want to help them." I looked at him with a sincere face and that surprised him a lot.
"You are different from the rest of the Olympians my lady. They truly only care about themselves."
"Well I'm different, unlike them I lived here on earth, living like the rest of you. I don't like being above everyone else like they do. I'm like my mother in that way."
"Indeed you are my Goddess".
