The Future of The Camp

"Goddess!" I hear a camper yell from outside my cabin.

I walked outside and saw that the earth in the middle of the camp was ripped open. Nothing was coming out of it, but people were still scared of what might happen. I walked closer to the giant hole and noticed that roots were sticking out, and the spot looked endless. I didn't give it a second thought and closed it up. I looked just like it was before.

"What happened," I asked, looking around.

"There was an earthquake a few seconds ago," A random camper said. I nobbed and started walking around.

I looked around the camp and noticed that there were other places with giant holes in the ground. I fixed those and made my way to the main house. Inside there was Chiron and Apollo, both of them waiting for me.

"What is happening around Camp?" I asked them. They both shrugged, not knowing either.

"Maybe it's a warning from monsters?" Apollo said blindly. I like him, but sometimes he can be dumb.

"What are you thinking, Chiron?" I was looking at him, but he was somewhere else.

He was looking at the book in front of him, reading it like it was the most precious thing in the world. I was staring at him, not saying anything. I wanted to know what he was reading. Maybe there is something in that book that can help. After he finished that page, he looked at both of us.

He cleared his throat and said: "I think this has to do with the monsters. They are getting more violent, more daring".

He wasn't wrong. For the last few years, there has been a decrease in demigods each year. They have been getting more daring. I don't know what I'm going to do about this anyway.

"What are we going to do about this?" I asked both of them. They looked at each other and then back at me.

"We could put more demigods on portal," Chiron said, looking at me.

"I have asked the gods for more help. They are going to send warriors; before they arrive, we will hold the fort as much as we could," I reassured them both.

They both nodded and started talking about other things. I walked around the room and started looking around it. The whole thing was covered in maps, different types of them at that. There were books everywhere on the floor and around the room. Out of nowhere, there was screaming coming from the outside of the main house. I ran out of the building and saw that monsters were coming from the holes from before. Campers were running around finding weapons, anything they could do to protect themselves. I transformed, and a sword appeared in my hand. I started attacking as many monsters as I could. Other demigods were attacking the monsters. Everything was in chaos. Then, nymphs from the forest appeared ready to help us out, and not just that warriors that the god sent appeared rescuing us from this trouble.

"Every injured camper heads towards the camp hospital," the speaker announced. Everything was messy and disorganized. Campers were sad and making their way towards their cabins. Others were celebrating how many monsters they killed. I made my way towards my cabin, knowing that both of my children were locked in the cabin. I continued towards the cabin and went inside. Luke watched TV while Mar was in her crib smiling and playing with a toy in her hand. I sighed in relief and walked around the house, making sure everything was ok.

"Calypso!" I felt arms wrap around my body. I almost screamed or hurt Apollo. He scared me shitless.

"Why do you creepy walk in the house like that?'' I said, turning around. I was still in arms. For some reason, the dream of his death kept coming into my mind.

"Hey, are you okay," He asked, looking at me. I moved my head, but he gently grabbed my face and moved it towards him.

"Yeah, I'm fine. I just thought that you were a monster for a second" I lied. He laughed a little and kissed me. He lifted me on the table, and we started a passionate kiss, something I never felt before, not ever.

A few days after the attack on the camp, a lot of campers weren't feeling safe. We have used many of the warriors sent to us by the gods to patrol the camp and keep the campers as safe as possible. But everything we tried to do still worried the kids. I absolutely didn't want that so I had called on an emergency meeting on Olympus.

"Why are we here now?" Poseidon asked pissed, He was most likely fucking some mortal on Earth.

"Well if you don't know already, we have been attacked". Everyone was silent and now looking at me.

"What do you mean attacked," Zeus said, looking at me.

"The camp was attacked today by monsters," I said, looking at them. Suddenly they started arguing among themselves. I was just on standby, listening to their opinions.

"Silence!" Zeus yelled, getting everyone's attention.

Everyone looked at him, waiting for him to say something. Then Zeus said, "What are you going to do about it, Calypso."

I turned to him and said: "Monsters are getting braver every day to attack the camp. I think there might be a war."

There was no turning back now. Everyone was talking about it; Zeus kept telling everyone that there wasn't going to be any wars in the future.

"I saw it, I've seen it happen," I tell everyone. They were silent, looking at each other and me.

Apollo looked at me, surprised. I could already tell what he was thinking. I grabbed his hand that squeezed it reassuring him that I will tell him later. I looked back at the gods. All of their eyes were on me, not me but my foresight.

"I've had dreams about Olympus being attacked by Kronos," I tell them.

"What type of dreams," Artemis asked.

"Dreams of Olympus being destroyed and all of us dying."

"We can't die!" Zeus exclaims.

"From our father, yes we could. I see all of you die," I tell him.

"What about you?" Ares asked.

"He wants me. He needs me to stop turning time, just like in the last war. He wants to stop me from going back to the present."

"He is getting smarter. He knows we will need her. If not, this war would last centuries," Ares told them.

Everyone started arguing about the future of Olympus and of me. The argument continued for another half an hour before Poseidon yelled at everyone to shut up.

"What are we going to do about this," Athena asked, looking at Zeus.

"Nothing, we aren't going to do anything. It might just be a dream," He said blankly.

"If you don't do anything now, we will pay the price for it later," I said, storming out of the room.
