Saving Demigods

I was walking towards New York City and started looking around the city. I started looking around, and that's when I saw smoke in the air. It was coming from a few streets in front of me. I started running, heading toward the building I saw in my dreams. I was so close; I have to save the children in that building. After a few minutes of running, I finally found the apartment building. The whole building was in flames, and people were running out of the building.

"Is there anyone else in the building?" I asked the nearby person.

She looked at me and said, "No, no one else was in the building other than the rest of us." I looked around and saw a handful of people.

I ran into the building, not believing her. I started looking around, looking into every room. That is when I remembered that they would be on the top floor. I started running, ignoring everything else on the way up. Short of breath, I finally made my way toward the top floor. When I got there, I looked around the whole floor—looking at every room, that was when I heard it. One little girl screaming and a baby crying.

"Don't worry, children, your time has come. You'll see Hades soon. Don't worry," a raspy voice said a few doors ahead of me.

I started running towards the room. That's when I saw them; the fury was a few feet away from the children.

"What are you doing!" I yelled at the fury.

That monster turned around and saw me. Then out of nowhere, it attacked me. I didn't let it touch me because the fury was dead in seconds. I turned back around and saw the little girl in the corner with a baby in her hands.

"You guys are ok," I said, walking towards them. The little girl hid closer to the corner.

"I'm here on beside of your Godly parent, they told me to rescue you, and not just you but the mortal baby," I said, coming closer.

This time she let me come closer, and I grabbed both of them in my hands, and within seconds we were at the gates of the camp. For some reason, this time, I wasn't in the camp. The little girl looked at me, confused and surprised.

"This place is for children like you, children of the gods," I said, looking down at the girl.

I let her on the ground, and she slowly walked into the barrier. I had the baby in my hand, and I started walking toward the barrier within seconds of being inside the camp. The baby and I were kicked out of the camp. I looked down at the baby and sighed. Her being mortal is the same reason she can't be let into the camp. She won't be able to survive if I leave her in the mortal world. They would end up hurting her in so many different ways.

"Dear child, I will be your mother now. Those people who didn't want you will regret that they didn't choose you."

My eyes started to glow, and the baby in my hands began to float in the air. She was transforming into my daughter. Her hair became curly and brunette. Her eyes turned blue like the sky, and her skin color changed; it was light brown with some golden specks. During the process, she started crying, and at that moment, I wanted all her pain to go away. The pain only lasted a few more seconds because she was sleeping peacefully back in my arms.

Once again, I started walking toward the border, and this time I made my way toward the camp. Inside everyone was looking at the little girl that had just walked into the camp. Then they saw me carrying the baby in my hands.

"Goddess are you the one who brought the little girl," Chiron said, walking towards me.

"Yes, I'm sorry I didn't call earlier, but I didn't have time," I said, walking in front of the Camp.

"Who is the baby?" Apollo asked. I turned around and saw that he was right behind me.

"This is my daughter. Well adopted daughter," I told everyone.

Everyone looked at me and then back at the baby in my hands. Most of the campers were taking care of the little girl's wounds. I walked towards her and kneeled to her level.

"You are going to be okay here," I said, the baby still in my hands.

"Are you going to take care of her?" the little girl asked.

"Of course I am. She's my daughter". With that, I started walking toward my cabin.

Apollo was following behind me. He wasn't saying anything; he was just walking. What was he thinking about? After a few more minutes of walking, we both finally made it to the cabin.

"Is this the reason why you left me alone on Olympus?" He asked when we finally got inside the cabin.

I turned around and faced him.

"Yes. I've had dreams about demigods being attacked and killed by monsters, and I want to do something about it," I said, looking down.

"We can make a demigod team at goes on missions to save demigods," Apollo said. I looked up at him. For some reason, I thought he was going to be mad at me. But he wasn't. "That's not a bad idea," I said, looking back at him. I started walking towards the room right next to mine. Once inside the room changed to the desire of the person designated. So, once inside it completely changed from a guest bedroom to a baby nusery. I walked towards the crib that was inside the room and slowly placed her inside.

"What's her name?" Apollo asked. I turned my head and saw that he was standing by the doorway.

"Her name is Mar," I said, looking back at the baby.

Together we both left the room and started walking toward the living room. Apollo sat on the couch, and I sat right next to him.

"Calypso, I need to ask you something?"He said, turning to face me.

I looked at him concerned and said, "What do you want to ask."

"Will you go on a date with me?"
