I was laying on my bed in my apartment. After the meeting with Chiron, the only thing on my mind were the demigods and how they lived their lives. They all die so young and can't even have a normal life like the rest of the people in the world. I can't take it anymore, I have to do something about it, I have to talk to the gods about this. Things in the human world need to change. I got up and decide I wanted to talk to the gods at this very moment. I got dressed and teleported to Olympus. I landed in some building, something unfamiliar to me. I started walking about and notice that it looked like Hera's garden. I walked inside and saw that it was full of exotic flowers and beautiful scenery. I sat on the nearest bench and take in the whole thing. I'm surprised that Zeus gave Hera this garden.
"What are You doing in here," someone said. I turned around surprised and saw that it was Apollo.
"Oh my titan's you scared me, I thought that you were Hera." I looked relieved. I got up and walked towards him.
"That was hilarious, you should've seen your face Calypso," he said laughing. I rolled my eyes and stood in front of him.
"When does this meeting start?". He went back to his straight face and I could see that his whole attitude changed.
"It starts in a few minutes actually," he said coming surprisingly closer to my face.
"What are you doing Apollo". I had a straight face, I knew that here on Olympus he was in with the ladies and I'm not going to be one of them.
"Just admiring your beauty," he said with a smirk. "Then admire it from afar". I walked away heading towards the throne room. Once there everyone was already there, even Apollo.
"Your late Calypso" I hear Zeus say looking at me.
I rolled my eyes and transformed into my godly form. Making my way toward my new throne. Once I sat down I could feel the emotions running through all of the demigods in the world. And the only thing I felt was pain, sorrow, and sadness. It was so strong I started to cry. I didn't pay any mind that the gods were staring at me with weird expressions. I could feel someone grab my hand and I finally snapped out of my trance and looked down at my hand. I saw that it belonged to Apollo. I smiled and wiped the tears away from my face.
"Sorry about that everyone, this is still all too new to me," I said looking at Zeus. He only nodded and continued to do his own thing.
He was talking about the world and some problems that were happening. everyone was saying that humans could deal with their own problems and that we shouldn't get into their problems.
"So what are you going to do about the demigods?" Zeus asked me. My head snapped towards him and frowned.
"Well as you all know the demigods are dying, the camp is reserving fewer and fewer demigods each year". I looked at them all and they seemed that they were bored.
"You guys are making too many kids and just leaving them to die. They aren't making their way to camp" I said insulting them. That's when they were finally paying attention.
"Your thousands of children are not making it in the human world. I want you to give me permission to make a demigod city where the demigods can live a peaceful life like the rest of the humans. Instead of them risking their lives for the stupid things you guys do".
Everyone was now talking among themselves thinking about what they should do, others were talking about the way I was talking about them.
"I agree with Calypso, the only thing we ask our children is for things and they gladly do them and we can't even protect them". I turned and saw Apollo standing up. Why is he agreeing with me?
Once Apollo stepped in for me, the gods took the situation more seriously. It's stupid they just think of me as a mere goddess that doesn't know anything. When in reality I'm much older then most of them.
"So Zeus what do you think about the idea," I asked him.
He was thinking about it and started looking at all of the gods and goddesses. They all surprisingly agreed with what I had to say maybe it's because they all feel bad.
"Fine, you can make a city," Zeus said bored already. He then gave me a mischievous face and continued.
"But you will have to work on this with Apollo, you have all the resources you need. But you two will have to work together". He was staring at Apollo, maybe this was a punishment for helping me.
"I'm sorry for bringing you into this whole mess, my children and I can do things on our own," I told him. He looked at me weirdly.
"Your children?" He asked me. He was staring at me Intensely trying to figure me out. Sorry Apollo I'm a really difficult person.
"Yeah, the demigods. What I was thinking of doing is going to find them myself and rescue as many as I can." He looked at me surprised because I was so unlike the other Gods.
"Are you going to do this alone? I could come along if you would like" he asked. I gave him a small frown and was debating if I should let him join me.
"No thanks, aren't you busy doing godly things like the rest of the Olympians." I looked over my shoulder and saw that Aphrodite was staring at me.
"Are you sure?" He asked again. Suddenly I see Aphrodite coming our way.
"What are you two love birds talking about?" She spoke loud enough for all of Olympus to hear.
"Can you speak any quieter?" I said annoyed. She simply rolled her eyes and continued talking, "Well you guys look comfortable together. Anyway what were you talking about, was it the plan for the demigod city".
If only I could leave this damn meeting they aren't even talking about anything important anymore. Instead, they are talking to each other. Poseidon was talking to Demeter about his oceans and whatever. But other than that they were literally just catching up.
"Calypso!" Aphrodite yelled in my ear. I rubbed my head and looked at her.
"What! Did you really have to yell in my eye that hurts you know?" Apollo was laughing at us. It was so funny, I guess.
"So what are you thinking about the rescuing of the demigods," she asked curiously. I sighed and decided to tell her.
"Well, I was thinking about rescuing them myself." Right when I said that she started laughing.
"Oh, my gods that's funny. Why don't you make the demigods fine them." Is she stupid or something? You know what I'm not even going to ask.
"Ok everyone, you may leave. The meeting is now dismissed". Finally, I was about to die being with all these dumb people.
Everyone disappear into their Domains and I was left alone with Apollo. Why is he still, I really don't know.
"I actually want to talk to you," he said nervously. His hand was rubbing the back of his head. What does he want to say to me?
"I was thinking that maybe we could have our meeting about the demigods in the camp." He actually wants to help with the project.
I was confused and he noticed it too because he said, "If not we could meet somewhere else".I shook my head and told, "No it's fine, we could have it in Chiron's office. I could be more private than having it here with all the gods".
He smiled and turned around and within seconds the only thing left was single sunflower on the floor. I smiled and picked it up. Then I was at home back in my apartment. Today was such a hectic day. I'm so glad it's over. At least I got something to look forward for the building for the demigods, my children.
