Iris and I were walking back towards the Main House. I already knew what she was thinking. She didn't have to say anything.
"We have to tell the Olympians about this." I turned to her and said: "We can't. If a war begins, the demigods would be the ones fighting it. Not the Olympians and, of course, not Zeus. He would sit on this throne and watch."
"I can't have my children fight in a war they don't want. They have struggled enough, they're enough demigods in this camp. Not enough for a war". I can't have them fighting. They deserve peace.
"Not all of these demigods are the famous sons of Zeus. There was only one Hercules and one Perseus. And there was only one Perseus, son of Poseidon. These demigods came here for protection, and I'm going to give it to them".
"Well, if you like it or not. I'm going to tell the Olympians they need to know what is going on here." Without saying anything, she disappeared. Most likely on her way to tell Zeus what just happened. I didn't say anything. I just walked towards my cabin, heading straight for my kids.
Once inside, I saw Apollo playing with Luke. He had him on his back. Together they were running around the house. Have the best time of their lives. I smiled and walked towards the couch, putting Mar into my arms. She was sleeping peacefully in my arms. In that second, it seemed like we were a perfect family. The dreams I had disappeared. I knew well that I wouldn't let anything happen to the demigods or my small family. I smiled and just watched Luke and Apollo having fun. After a few minutes, a few demigods started coming over; of course, they came to visit my tv.
"What are you guys doing here?" I asked them as they walked in.
"We brought chips and some snacks. We also came to use your tv?" Melody asked, with the rest of the Athena cabin behind her.
"Come in, everyone. Make yourselves at home. You always have a place where I told them, and they all sat on the couch. Now, this felt like a family. It has been two days since Iris left the camp. There was no news from Hermes, well, not yet at least. This means we still have a little time to think of ways to get out of this war. I can't have these demigods fighting in a war they don't want to participate in. I was standing in front of the whole camp, waiting for everyone to be quiet.
"Hello everyone. As you all know, we have been attacked, not once but twice. From the information that I have gathered, this was planned. Not just by monsters, but demigods too, all of which were orders from my father, Kronos". They stayed silent, wanting to hear what I was going to say.
"I will not let you guys join a war that you guys have no part of. I will not let Zeus force you guys to join the war. But if you do, I will join the battle with you. I will die protecting every one of you".
They started cheering at my words. The only thing I could do was smile and pretend like it wasn't going to happen. I left the stage and started walking towards the main house, where the cabin leaders waited for me. Before I made it to the meeting, I was stopped because of the bright light. It appeared right in front of me. The campers near me closed their eyes, knowing well that the bright light belonged to a god. I stayed there waiting, wanting to know who it was.
When the bright light disappeared, I saw Hermes standing right in front of me. He wasn't his usual happy self. Instead, he seemed annoyed.
"You are needed on Olympus at once. Zeus has called an emergency meeting," He said.
"Don't you want to say hello to your children, Hermes? They don't know how their father looks like after all," I told him before he disappeared. I smirked and continued to the main house.
"Sorry for being later, everyone but the meeting has to be continued some other time. I'm needed on Olympus," I tell them.
"It is alright, my Goddes. We will start the meeting later," Alyssa said, getting up from the meeting table. Following behind her were the rest of the cabin leaders. I smiled and teleported towards Olympus.
Once there, everyone was staring at me like I betrayed them or something. I made my way towards the meeting hall and saw all the Olympians there, even Apollo. I walked towards my throne and sat down. At that moment, I felt the power from all the demigods. I could sense so many of them from all over the world. I sighed and looked up. Everyone was looking at me.
"So have you summoned us here, Zeus," Hades said, standing next to Hestia, who was close to her hearth.
"Yeah, every important god is in this room?" Athena asked, really curious about what will happen next.
"We will be at war soon, right Calypso?" Zeus said, looking straight at me. I rolled my eyes and sighed, simply nodding.
"The camp has been attacked, not just once but twice. The second time, Iris and I were looking at the barrier. There was a demigod who attacked us. He did not belong in the camp. He actually tried attacking us, warning us about Kronos and how he wants to start a war," I tell them.
Everyone was talking, trying to get what they had in their minds out. They were all trying to come up with ideas on how they can stop this war before it even starts.
"Everyone! Silence!" Hera said, standing up. Everyone was quiet. We haven't seen this side of her, not since the last war.
"We need to find a situation together." She continued.
Out of nowhere, I felt a sharp pain in my head. It was so bad that I started screaming. I was no longer on my throne. I was on the floor, and everyone was staring at me, confused.
"Calypso, what is going on." Apollo ran towards me, worried.
The aura of the room changed completely. The room became more evil, dark in a way. My eyes were a green color. Nothing about me was the same.
In a raspy voice, someone else said, "Hello my children, I see that you have brought your family all here, together. This is good. Everyone is here. Thank you for the audience, but I will have to make this brief. I am here to tell all of you that I will see you all soon. Of course, I will be standing on your corpses. I hope you didn't forget about me". I collapsed on the floor; everyone saw this as a declaration of war.
