I was sitting in the kitchen reading through my email while Luke was eating breakfast. I looked up from my computer and saw that he was happily eating his pancakes. I smiled at him and slowly looked at another email. This one was from Olympus, most importantly from Apollo. I looked at him, and it read that he wanted me to meet him in a cafe in New York to review the structure of the Demigod Camp.
"Luke, what are you planning to do today?" I asked him. He looked up from his plate and smiled at me.
"Today, I have the training to do," he said, looking sad. I nodded and accepted Apollo's invitation.
After Luke finished his food, he left to train. I was soon left alone. I got surprisingly tired and fell back asleep, which is weird of me to do.
The setting was different from the ones I had before. This time I was in a burning building. I was on the top floor, and right in front of me was a fury. She was scaring two siblings, I think. I continued walking. They were ignoring me like I really wasn't there. I walked closer to the demigod, and I saw that she was just a little kid, and in her arms was a baby. I was shocked because they were on their own I was surprised that they lasted this long on their own. I continued looking around and saw that there was a clock on the wall, it read five-thirty. I need to know what day this is going to happen. I have to save these poor kids.
Out of nowhere, there was a ringing in the background. I shout wake and realized that it is already three o'clock. I quickly got ready and figured out where Apollo wants to meet me at. I teleported to New York City. I made my way to Central Park. Once there, I started looking around, trying to look for Apollo. Suddenly I got tapped on the shoulder.
"Looking for someone?" Apollo said behind me. I turned around and saw Apollo standing there with a huge smile on his face. I gave him a small smile and sighed. He really scared me.
"Come on, Apollo, we really need to talk about the city," I told him. We started walking around Central Park, looking and talking.
"I think we get the Hephaestus and Athena cabins working together to build the city, little by little," Apollo said. I nodded, thinking it was a good idea.
"Come on, Apollo, we need to think about other things," I said, looking at him.
"Like what?" He said, looking at me with a smirk. I rolled my eyes, and we continued walking around Central Park.
Out of nowhere, Apollo started holding my hand. I quickly pulled my hand away. I turned to face him and saw that his face was all red.
"What was that about?" I said, looking at him, trying to find something. What is he thinking about?
"There is someone following us; I don't know if it is a monster, a minor goddess that wants my attention," He replied. I rolled my eyes and continued walking. This time I was trying to walk faster.
"And why does that matter Apollo, I really don't care if the goddess or monster wants to get you." He looked somewhat hurt.
I sighed and rolled my eyes, "Fine, let's get out of here so that goddess would leave you alone."
He smiled and grabbed my hand. For some reason, I like the feeling I got from holding his hand. It was so different from anything I had felt before. This feeling, I have never felt before. Maybe it's all those centuries of being alone and by myself. It was all the reason for Kronos and now Zeus. I like this warm feeling.
I smiled, and I think Apollo saw me because he started pulling me out of the park and towards a restaurant. It was fancy too. I don't spend my time in New York. I'm always inside, doing whatever I can to stay away from people. But this place, this place is so different from what I'm used to. It was where you would see a celebrity. The was a chandelier at the entrance of the building, and there was a fancy waitress.
She saw Apollo and instantly smiled, but when she saw me, her smile disappeared. She gave me a snarl and showed us to a table.
"This place is amazing, Apollo," I said, looking around the whole place. Everything here was so different from what I'm used to.
"I would go here every time I come here on earth for a meeting," He said, looking at me.
After a few minutes, the same waitress appeared out of nowhere, right beside Apollo. He surprisingly didn't even look at her. Instead, he was staring at me. When Apollo wasn't noticing her, she cleared her throat, announcing her presence. We both looked up at her and smiled.
"Are you guys ready to order?" she said. I looked down at the menu and saw that everything here was so expensive.
"Apollo, why don't your choice for me," I said, looking back up from the menu. That made him smile. He winked at me and looked up at the waitress.
"We will both have steak. Can I have my medium rare and hers medium-well?" He handed her both of the menus and looked back at me.
I grabbed my computer out of my bag and started looking at the plans Zeus has given us in the city. It has everything we need. We need to find the style and how it's going to be built.
"We don't have to talk about business right now, Calypso," Apollo said, pushing down my computer.
I smiled and just nodded, "Fine. You win, Apollo. So what do you want to talk about".
"Well, anything really, I just brought you here because I wanted to spend some time with you and without the Olympians stepping in."
