Both Ares and I walked into the cabin. Inside was somewhat of a mess the children had been playing in the living room.

"Sorry about the mess Ares. The kids were playing" I looked back at him kind of embarrassed.

"It's alright, I don't mind it," Ares said, ignoring the mess. I smiled and continued walking towards the nearest guest room.

"This will be your room," I told him. Once he walked in, the room changed to his liking, just like the ones in Olympus do. The whole room completely changed, it went from a lively room to a completely dark one. The bed was in the middle of the room, with gold and black bed sheets. On top of the bed were two paintings, both of them of trees.

That's when I noticed that I was staring at the room for too long

That's when I noticed that I was staring at the room for too long. "Sorry, I should let you get settled in." I turned around to leave when suddenly he got grabbed my hand stopping me.

"I'm sorry about the inconvenience I put on you. I didn't want to pry into your personal life with Apollo."

It took a lot in me to not cry, but he must have noticed that. "Don't worry about that, I hope that we go back to that place one day. I just didn't know that he was still texting his ex." His face went sour, he must have known who her. That made me mad. I pulled away from him.

"Do you know her?" I questioned.

"Yes.." My face changed, "Of course you do." I was out of the door at this point. "You knew who she was and you didn't warn me of her." I was so confused, men always stick together. That is why I never dated in the human world.

"Men! They all think the same. They see another pretty girl, and leave the other." I walked out of the room. I was inside my room and locked the door, slowly falling apart. I fell to the ground, crying. I didn't realize how hard it was going to be to forgive Apollo. I know it's a little trivial thing, keeping in contact with an ex. But for me it wasn't trivial if she showed up in front of you, the ex still flirting with your boyfriend. It makes it seem like they still like and want each other. Then I remembered something from a long time ago... At the party in Olympus, the day after he gave me an outfit that was different from all the outfits I usually wear. Were they hers? Not only that but he seemed to be playing family with me and my children. Did all he wanted was a replacement? How could he do that? Pretend? Realizing this made my tears worsen, and I became a mess. I couldn't stop crying, all I think about now is what he could be doing. Who is he with? And does he love me?

After a while of just crying there, I heard a knock on the door. I quickly wiped the tears away, making sure that I didn't leave any trace of me crying. Once I was ready I opened the door. The person standing outside wasn't the person I wanted, It was Ares. But his face was different. He wasn't wearing his usual facial expression, I was so used to the serious, angry god persona; but right now it wasn't that. His facial expression was different, He looked sad for me, for my pain. I don't need anyone's pity.

"I didn't want to bother you, but I don't know how to get around the camp." He didn't seem to want to bother me, more like he was forced to.

"Of course! Let me show you around," I changed my attitude, hiding how I truly felt at that moment.

"Just give me a minute, to change." He looked at me and smiled, "Of course." He turned around and left. I closed the door behind me and went into my closet, starting to look for something to wear. At that moment I decided I wanted to change. If I wasn't good enough for Apollo then I'll be good enough for me and my kids. I made everything in my closet disappear and I made a terrifying phone call to Olympus.

Once the phone was answered I could hear, "Hello Calypso! How are you? What have you been up to?" The one and only Aphrodite.

"Aphrodite, I need serious help! I decided I needed a new wardrobe change! Can you come to help me?' I asked. All I can hear was one big scream from the other side of the phone. Before I could pull the phone away from my ear. Aphrodite appeared out of nowhere in my room.
