I was on Olympus; everything was in ruins. Homes were either on fire or already destroyed. Kronos and his army were rampaging all of Olympus. The only thing I could do was stare. I couldn't move; my feet were stuck to the floor. I looked near me and saw Apollo on the ground near me. He wasn't moving. He was dead. The only thing I could feel was anger and sadness. I screamed, pouring everything in that scream. I got all of the monster's attention, every one of them. They came running towards me. I felt so much hatred without a second thought; lightning struck them down. Their bodies turned into dust. I fell onto the ground, hugging Apollo's lifeless body. I cried. I couldn't feel his heart beating; how can someone kill a god. Artemis appeared next to me; she put her hand on my shoulder and tapped me.
"It's going to be okay, Calypso," Artemis whispered in a broken voice.
"I'm going to kill that son of a bitch," I got up from where I was and jumped into the air.
I landed a few meters away from Kronos. There were monsters everywhere; they started surrounding me. A sword appeared in my hands, and I started slashing at the monsters in front of me.
"Let her through," I hear Kronos tell his minion. I walked forward, heading straight towards him.
He looked the same he did all those years ago. He still looked young, but now his body was full of scars due to being ripped apart. I stopped in my tracks, staring at my father. I could see that he was happy that there was a war.
"Why did you do this?" I asked, looking at him. I couldn't read him; he was so mysterious.
"It's because I want you. I need your power to conquer the world and all of Olympus," He said, staring at me. He suddenly grabbed my shoulders and started screaming.
I woke up screaming; that was the terrifying dream I have ever had. I turned around towards the door and saw that Apollo was running into the room.
"Are you okay?" Apollo asked, making his way towards the bed. I moved over and made space for him to lay down. He took the hint and laid down next to me.
"I had a dream about Kronos; it was so real," I explained to him. I didn't want to tell him that he died in my dream.
We spent the rest of the morning with him until it was eight in the morning. Together we were making food for the kids making sure they ate something before doing camp activities. After they ate, Apollo and I went to Olympus.
I had bumped into Aphrodite on the way to Apollo's palace on Olympus. She grabbed me and dragged me towards her place. She decided to get dressed ready for the next meeting, which wasn't that far away. We need to arrive in the council hall in an hour. Instead of being with Apollo, I had to be getting ready with Aphrodite.
"Calypso, does this dress look good on me?" She asked, looking at herself through the mirror.
I wasn't listening. I had other things in mind, mainly about the dream I recently had.
"Calypso, are you listening to me?" Aphrodite yelled in my ear. I flinched away—her yelling hurt.
"Yes, the dress looks great on you," I blurted out.
That was good enough to satisfy Aphrodite because she started talking about shoes. The next forty minutes was the worst time I have ever spent. We arrived in the meeting hall looking great. I could also tell that Apollo loved the outfit Aphrodite picked out because he was staring at me. I smiled at him and walked towards my throne. Everyone was staring at both of us. Aphrodite knew how to get ready.
"What is this meeting about?" Poseidon asked, looking at Zeus. I could tell he was annoyed because we have been having a lot of meetings lately.
"This meeting is actually about the humans," Zeus told us. Everyone was shocked. Why would we need to discuss humans?
"Is this about Zeus?" I said seriously. He looked at me with a glare.
"We have been getting reports about demigods not making it to camp," He said. We already knew this; we have been telling him for weeks now.
"I think that the humans have something to do with this," He spoke.
I rolled my eyes and said, "The decrease of demigods is because of monsters."
He looked at me with the maddest face he could give me. Me back talking to him meant that he didn't know what he was talking about.
"And how do you know this," He said, still glaring at me.
A folder appeared out of nowhere, right in my hands. I walked towards him and handed him the folder. He started reading the folder, and after a few minutes, he looked back at me.
"Where did you get this?" He asked.
"The camp has a record of demigod decrease. It's been going down every year," I spoke.
I could tell that he didn't like it. Zeus being corrected wasn't in his vocabulary. He teleported the folder back into my hand.
"What are we going to do about this?" Poseidon asked. He wasn't staring at Zeus but me. Why does he want my opinion?
"We need to send trained demigods to rescue and secure the new ones. This way, we save as many demigods as we can."
The gods started talking among themselves. Apollo squeezed my hand in reassurance. I looked at him and smiled. He looked back at the rest of the gods.
"We should bring in some of our trained nymphs so they could also rescue our demigod children," Hephaestus announced.
"We should do that," Aphrodite agreed. The rest of the gods started agreeing to the idea too.
"So it's settled then, we will give you a handful of our best warriors," The gods said, looking straight at me.
