It's hard falling asleep with a broken heart
It was easier with you in bed with me
Didn't need a dream catcher when you were mine
Everything was cool and calm
Felt like I was floating on clouds
My peacefulness had no disturbance
Only you caused that feeling
Now you use your powers for someone else
I was lonely in my mind
Nobody was able to understand me
For that I only had myself
Until you heard the thoughts in my head
Didn't judge but took time to know me
Ever since then, I knew I just needed you
Except for this time you aren't here
Laying down on silk sheets
Staring at your side of the bed
Waiting for the covers to swallow me
Hoping I can get some sleep for the night
