I didn't mean for us to go this way
The pressure of love made my mind go haywire
I am all over the place when you hold me close
When you touch my lips, I couldn't get enough of it
The thought of forever terrified me
Nothing ever lasts forever
Somehow I felt I was going to hurt you
Its selfish cause loving me is a circus
While your love is a field of flowers
I picked the flowers without thorns
So the rest can protect you from me
The way your eyes lost color
Tore my heart but I stayed strong
Try not to think about me too much
It will make the feeling worse
Making memories feel like yesterday
And our touch lingering our bodies with no one there
This is the way it has to be
