IDEAL LOVE

I'm always about going with the flow
Nowadays I feel like things are going slow
It's not good to rush things
When you can't handle it

Never listened to my own advice
When I needed to
I repeat it all the time
But over time the words fade away

I try not to put my feelings on you so early
When all you did was say a couple of words
That's all you needed to do to get in my head
Don't know if it is genuine
All I know is I can't look at anyone else
When I am so into you

Being cautious with my heart of seeing many heartbreaks
I wouldn't want that, but I wouldn't mind if you do it
Afraid to check my phone to not see your name
Put my phone on dnd, I'll check in the morning
I wonder if you feel the same
I like to think you do
It helps me think wonders of you and me

My mind is going in circles
I can think of ideal things we could do
But those are fantasy's
When in reality I don't know what to do if we were to happen

I just need a little bit of your time
You would know more than just my name
Along the way if you don't feel the same
Can you stay a little longer so I can have that ideal feeling?
Even if the feeling is part of my imagination
