When he is injured

We were now in Helms Deep, preparing for battle. Even the children were handed swords and asked to fight. The women and old people were sent to the caves. Everyone knew that this was a battle we couldn't win. The army of orcs would arrive by nightfall, they said. Haldir had also arrived with the army of elves.
'Are you scared love? ' Legolas asked me, cupping my face with his hand.
'A little bit, I'm scared that I would loose you Legolas' I replied looking down.
He held my chin and lifted up my face and planted a soft kiss on my forehead, 'I'll come back without a scratch, meleth nin' he said with a small smile.
'We will NOT be led into war by a woman! ' a soldier cried from the back and others joined in. We looked back and saw a group of about 20 men coming towards us.
'Her?? A SHE-elf??!! This woman will lead us into battle? ' their leader said pointing at me.
'I will, it's the kings orders,' I said with a fake smile, ' I might be a woman but I'm a better soldier than all of you, I have courage unlike you. '
Hearing this the leader raised up his hand to slap me but Legolas held it in time. He was angry, very angry. 'How dare you-' he gritted through his teeth but I stopped him, ' let me handle this meleth nin' I said to him.
I looked up at the man who was about to hit me and said, 'fine, ill prove myself, if even one of you can defeat me then I won't lead you in battle'. Hearing this all the men laughed. They sent their weakest member in first. I just had to kick him once and he was finished. One by one all the men fought with me but none of them even succeeded to touch me. It was finally time for the leader. He was bigger and seemed stronger than the others. He came up and threw a punch at my face but I dodged it. I then punched his stomach. He staggered back but then got up on his feet again and took out his sword. Legolas was about to hand me his since I didn't have one but I stopped him. I took on the man with bare hands. I dodged every single one of his attacks. I kicked him in the stomach multiple times and the hand in which he was holding the sword. The sword went flying and I caught it and held it up against his neck. I smirked and said, 'what happened? Defeated by a woman?'. I could hear Legolas laugh behind me. The man was fuming with anger. He did not say anything else and left with his group.
'Looks like I won't need to worry about you so much meleth nin ' Legolas said smiling.
The orc army was here. Ten thousand of them. I could see fear in the eyes of our men. I looked at Aragorn and he gave me a small nod.
'I love you Legolas, let's come out of that alive' I said to him and he replied with an I love you too.
It was time. 'FIRE! ' I yelled and all the archers started firing.

Time skip
The wall of helms deep was breached. We were on our horses in the middle of the orcs, killing one after another. Legolas and Gimli were counting kills and I joined in with them. I was probably killing the most orcs. Suddenly I saw this huge black orc coming towards me. He slashed his sword at me which sent me flying down my horse. I stood up before him and started fighting. I finally got him and cut his head off his body. I smiled to myself but then saw Legolas running towards me. 'YN LOOK OUT' he yelled pushing me aside. I turned around to see a giant orc who was coming at me with a sword from behind. But it hit Legolas. My heart stopped for a moment as his knees hit the ground. 'LEGOLAS' I cried , now filled with rage. I threw multiple arrows at the orc and cut off his head. More orcs were coming towards the injured Legolas. I took out my bow and arrows and shot them one after the other. Soon the Rohirrim were here. The battle was won. I ran to Legolas with tears in my eyes. His eyes were closed but he was still breathing. 'I'm sorry my love, I have to leave you, promise me you'll always stay happy' he said in a weak voice. I took him in my arms and cried, ' no my love, I won't let you go'.
I cried for Aragorn and the others and they all carried Legolas inside. I knew how to heal and so I cleaned his wound and bandaged him. Luckily he was okay. I stayed beside him the whole night. Making sure he was okay. Legolas had not woken up yet. I could see the sun rise through the window after sometime and my eyes couldn't stay open anymore. I slowly drifted off to sleep on a chair beside his bed.

Legolas's Pov

The sunlight hit my face and I slowly opened my eyes. The last thing I remember was getting stabbed by an orc while saving y/n. As soon as I opened my eyes I saw y/n sitting on a chair with her head rested on the bed and sleeping. I smiled at her beautiful face. I tucked some of her hair behind her ear and rubbed off a little bit of drool from the side of her lips. She's the only elf I've ever seen drooling and it was the most adorable ever. I saw light tear stains on her cheeks. I tried sitting up and that woke her. She jolted up.
'You're awake! ' she said hugging me lightly.
'You promised you would come back without a scratch. But you didn't keep it. Why did u have to jump in to save me?!?! I was so scared. I thought I would loose you' she said as a few years left her eyes.

I rubbed off her tear with my thumb and planted a soft kiss on her lips.
'I am alright meleth nin,' I said with a soft smile, 'don't worry love, I would never leave you. I love you so much y/n'.

'Don't ever scare me again like that. I love you Legolas. I can't afford to loose you my love' she replied as she kissed me again.
'Let me open your dressing and see the wound' she said as she lifted up my shirt and took off the dressing. The wound was almost gone. I did not have any pain at all.
'You healed so fast' she said with a bright smile on her face. She put the dressing on again for some time. She could barely keep her eyes open. Sleep was evident in her eyes.
'Did you stay up all night love? Did you not get any rest after the war? ' I asked her, worried a little. She nodded a no. I pulled her arm making her fall beside me on the bed.
'What are you doing? She said, surprised.
I lifted up her head and put my arm under it. 'Sleep a little love, I'm right here, I'll wake you up' I said. 'But-' she was about to say but I cut her off with a kiss, 'sleep meleth nin, rest' I said as she closed her eyes and quickly drifted off to sleep. I smiled. I was so lucky to have her. I rested my head against hers and closed my eyes. I drifted off to sleep thinking about her and my future.
