'Are you ready love? ' Legolas asked from outside the bathroom.
'I am but im not being able to zip my dress' I yelled from inside. I was wearing a beautiful velvet dress that Eowyn had sent for me to wear at the party. King Theoden had thrown a massive party for our victory against the orcs, all people, even commoners were invited.
'Should I help you love' Legolas said, lightly knocking at the bathroom door.
'Yes please Legolas' I replied back as he opened the door and came inside. I turned around and he moved my hair from the back and zipped up my dress. His face was very near my neck and I could feel his breath on my neck which sent shivers down my body.
I turned around and Legolas widened his eyes, 'you look so beautiful meleth nin'.
I blushed and he could see that so he gave me a small peck on my lips. We walked into the party. It was filled with people, everyone was drinking and dancing and eating. I spotted Gimli, Aragorn and the others at a table and we went there.
'Here here, we saved you two a seat' Pipin said pointing at two empty chairs. Legolas and I sat down.
'Might I say, you look absolutely gorgeous today y/n' Boromir said with a smirk. Legolas glared at him. 'Thank you' I simply replied back with a small smile.
'Aye lassie, do you drink? ' Gimli asked me handing me a huge jug of beer. I've only drunk once before and I can't really hold my liquor. I am half human so i can get drunk with normal alcohol as well.
'I don't think that will be a good idea Gimli, she won't be able to handle it' Legolas said, pushing away the beer. I won't be able to handle it? He thinks I won't be able to handle it because I'm a woman.
'No Gimli, bring it on, I'll show them how much I can handle' I said picking up the beer. 'But my love-' Legolas was about to say but I cut him off as I chugged down the glass of beer at one go.
'Aye lassie, now we're talking' Gimli said as he orderded more. I chugged down glass after glass after glass of beer until I was completely drunk. Legolas tried to stop me quite a few times but I didn't listen.

Legolas's POV

Yn was completely drunk. But even after chugging down 12 glasses of beer, she still managed to beat Gimli. Y/n suddenly got up and started to go towards the crowd who were dancing. She could barely walk properly and stumbled here and there. I got up to stop her but Gimli stopped me.
'Let her have some fun Legolas, just keep an eye on her from here' he said and Aragorn nodded with a reassuring smile. I sighed and sait down again as I saw y/n slowly dissapear into the crowd. I started talking to Aragorn about him and Arwen.

Time skip
Quite some time had passed now. Y/n had not come back and she was still out of sight. I was starting to get a little worried now. I decided to go and check up on her. I searched for her amongst the crowd but she was no where. I returned to our table and said that I couldn't find y/n.
'She must have gone to the bathroom, stop worrying you elf' Gimli said, almost passed out on the table. But that did not convince me. Yet I sat down again and waited for her.

Your POV

As I danced along with the crowd I had no idea about where I was. I was so drunk. I was feeling tired and so on started walking back to Legolas and the others. But just then 3-4 men came and picked me up. I could see the face of one of them. He was the leader of the men who did not wanted to be lead into battle by me but had made a fool of themselves when I defeated them. I opened my mouth to shout for help. I tried to kick them but I was too weak and too drunk. One of them covered my mouth and after that everything went black. The last thing I heard was one of the men say, ' let's go and show this bitch what women are actually supposed to be used for'.

Legolas's POV

Some more time passed and now I was extremely worried. I picked up the little dagger which I had brought with me and went to search for y/n. I searched the entire room but she was no where. I even searched the bathroom but that was also empty. I went upstairs and started searching all the rooms one by one. Almost all of them were empty, until I came up to this one room. I pushed open the door to see y/n tied to the wall. Her dress was almost ripped open on her chest area and 4 men had their hands all over her body. I was angry. I had never felt this anger before.
'How. Dare. You' I said as I pushed them away from y/n. I started throwing punches and kicks. 3 of them men lay there unconscious as I punched their leader continuously. By then Aragorn had come up to the room, also fuming with anger after seeing y/ns condition. 'Take y/n and go, take care of her, I'll take care of these men' he said putting a hand on my shoulder as I quickly untied y/n's hands and legs and covered her body with my cloak and carried her outside. I carried her back to our room and slowly laid her on the bed.
Tears filled my eyes as I saw purple bruises and small knife cuts all over her chest, face, hands and legs. I couldn't protect her from the disgusting touch of those men.
I cleaned up her body and applied medicine to her cuts and bruises. Thank god I came before the men had gone further. I got y/n changed into new clean clothes. I kissed her forehead , 'I'm so sorry meleth nin, I could not protect you' I said as tears filled my eyes again. I should not have let her drink so much and go into the crowd alone. I should have kept checking up on her. I should have got to her sooner. It's all my fault, I thought to myself.

Your POV

'I'm so sorry meleth nin, I could not protect you' i could faintly hear Legolas.
I slowly opened my eyes and saw Legolas sitting beside me. I saw cuts and bruises all over my body and I was changed into fresh clothes. My head was bursting with a huge headache. That's when I remembered what happened and my eyes widened. Those men had taken me upstairs to a room and tied me to a wall. I couldn't stop them nor could I scream for help. They touched my body with their filthy hands. I eventually passed out. I covered my body with my hands as I remembered what they did. Legolas immediately got up and hugged me tightly.
'I-im so s-sorry Legolas, I couldn't do anything to s-stop them, did they-' I said crying into his arms. He hugged me tighter and brought his face in front of mine.
'No no my love, they couldn't do anything more, I found you before they could, and please don't apologize, it's all my fault, I couldn't protect you' he said looking down with a sad, guilty face.
'T-those men... where are they.. ' I shakily asked.
'Aragorn is handling them, don't worry love, I'll make sure they do not live to see tomorrow's sunlight' Legolas said, immense anger evident in his voice. But seeing me trembling calmed him down. He kissed my forehead and covered my body with a blanket.
'Don't worry love, I promise I will always protect you, I wont ever let this happen,' he said, 'take some rest love, I'll bring something for your headache'.
He went and came with some medicinal tea to help with my splitting headache. I asked Legolas to come sleep beside me and he joined me. I was very strong myself, but sometimes I was also scared and vulnerable, like right then. But Legolas wrapped his arms around me protectively and I knew that he would always be there to save me from every thing. 'I love you meleth nin' was the last thing he said before I drifted off to sleep in his arms.
