Legolas Oneshots

When he takes care of you while you're pregnant

'Legolas' i pouted as i gently tucked on his tunic.

'So what is my beautiful wife craving now hmm?' he asked as he cupped my face with his hands.

'I'm not craving anything but I want to go out! I haven't trained in weeks! I miss my bow and arrows' I said.

It has been five months since we've come to Rivendell and Legolas doesn't let me do anything, let alone go and train. He has become very overprotective because I'm pregnant. This was the umpteenth time asking him to let me go train but of course, he has said no. I'm only five months pregnant, I dont even have a raised belly yet.

But Legolas had been taking so much care of me. He'd listen to whatever I say and also calmly and patiently handle my mood swings. And whenever I'm craving any food, he'd make sure I'm getting it. I was loving how Legolas was being but sometimes it was a bit too much.

'Melleth nin, why do you keep asking me that? You know something could happen to you and the child if you get hurt. You also know about the sudden episodes of pain that you have, which have increased noticeably, its not that I dont want you to train, its just I dont want to see you getting hurt' Legolas said as he gently kissed my forehead. I let out a sigh, knowing that I wont be able to convince him.

'Now let me get you some food hmm? You must be hungry' and with that Legolas left the room.

I thought to myself for sometime that I could go and train a little bit before Legolas was back. I mean, what's the worst that could happen if he finds out? He'll just scold me a bit, I'll deal with that.

Not giving it a second thought I quickly got out of bed and slipped out of my dress and put on my training clothes. It felt good wearing them after such a long time of wearing dresses. I grabbed a few daggers and my bow and arrows and sneaked out of my room.

'Hey y/n ! Where are you going at this time dressed like that?' Elorian said as he stopped me midway.

'I'm going to train Elorian, now you cannot stop me so get out of my way' I said.

'Oh I'm not stopping you at all mellon nin, why don't we train together? It has been ages since we've had our classic duel' Elorian suggested.

'That does sound like a good idea. Ready to get defeated?' I said.

'We'll see who gets defeated' Elorian winked before we ran out to the training grounds.
'We're going hand to hand, first one to accept defeat looses, let's start' I said before attacking him. He dodged a few of my punches but one of them hit him hard on his face.
He staggered back only for a second before kicking me in the face.
'You shouldn't have gone for the face' he said.
'Well neither should have you, I was going easy on you' I said before kneeing him in the stomach.
We continued like this for another five minutes till I finally got behind Elorian and choked him from the back until he gave up.

'I've fought against a 10,000 orc army and Sauron's forces so you never really stood a chance you know, I was just going easy on you' I smirked as we walked towards the garden.

Everything was fine till the sudden pain in my abdomen came again. I groaned and held Elorian's shoulder for support as I clutched my stomach. These pains seemed worse than the previous one. My eyes teared up as I crouched down to the ground because of the unbearable pain.

'Y/n!!! Are you okay?! ' Elorian said as he kneeled down beside me.
'N-no, I need L-legolas' I managed to mumble out.
'I'll come right back with him, wait for two minutes please' Elorian said as he rushed out of the garden. The pain only got worse and I found myself getting light headed.

Thankfully, just minutes later Elorian came running back with Legolas behind him.
'Meleth nin!' He said as he rushed to my side.
'I-its hurts too much Legolas' I managed to say before passing out because of the pain.

'She could have DIED because of YOUR irresponsibility! Stay AWAY from MY WIFE or else you'll hurt her even more!' I faintly heard Legolas's voice yelling.
I slowly opened my eyes to see I was back in my room again and it was past sundown.

I recognized Legolas and Elorian standing in front of my bed.
'Legolas' I called out for him.
The anger faded away from his face as he turned towards me.
'My love, ' he said as he sat down beside me , 'why don't you ever listen to me, what if something had happened to you? I was so scared! '.
'I'm fine melamin' I smiled.
'You can leave Elorian' Legolas harshly said and Elorian walked out of the room without saying anything.
'It's not his fault Legolas, it's mine, don't be so hard on him' I said.
'Please my love, don't ever do this again, I could have lost you and our child' Legolas said as he took my hand in his.

'I'm really sorry' I said looking down.

'It's alright love' he said as he kissed my forehead.
'Let me bring you some food and please don't go anywhere this time' he chuckled.

Time skip

'I really don't know why you like lembas so much Legolas' I rolled my eyes as I saw him come back with lembas bread. Again.

'Well it's only the best food ever! One bite and-' Legolas began to say.
'Yeah yeah I know Legolas, you've said this so many times' I said as he chuckled.

'Have you thought about what you want? Like a girl or a boy? ' Legolas said as he sat down on the bed beside me and put his hand behind me for support.
'Well it really doesn't matter, I'll love them most, no matter what their gender is' I said as I took a bite of the lembas and almost gagged.

'I was thinking of names- ' Legolas said.
'You were!? ' I sat up excited.
'Yes my love, Idril or Melian if it's a girl and Lindir or Elladan if it's a boy' he said.

'Those are really beautiful names Legolas' I said as I leaned on his shoulder.
'I can't wait for them' I said.
'Neither can I love, neither can I' I replied.
