Chapter 5

Reader POV

I wasn't riding with anyone except a horse. I often had to shoot a green smoke signal but never had to engage.

  I couldn't see anyone right now because there was a pile of trees beside me. I saw two black signals go of so I set both of mine up.

  I met a scout in the forest and let him my spare horse. "Are you ok, here have this horse." I said to him. He took it and went on his was "thank you." He called out. I left him on his way and returned to my position.

I heard a rumbling sound not long later. When I looked over to the side it was an abnormal. It looked a bit more female then any other Titan I had seen before.

She knocked the floor beside me and I flew up. Pieces of the ground were flying up and around one even hit my head. I felt a hand underneath me. I was lifted up to eye level with this Titan. She looked at me, she then lowered me down. I put my hand on my head and looked at it. Blood was poring out of it. I opened my eyes after a second and looked around, the Titan was just a shadow running towards the sun. I looked around for my horse but I couldn't see much. Why didn't that Titan kill me? Who was it? I tried to stand up but I couldn't my legs wouldn't work properly. Each time I tried to stand up I fell back over. I started to fell a bit light headed so I tried to drag myself over to the forest on my left.

When I reached the forest I started to feel my eyes close. I was sitting at the trunk of the tree. Even with myself falling into swift unconsciousness I could still hear what was going on. Someone was talking. I couldn't tell exactly who but it was someone. I tried calling out to them. "H-he-hey." I tried again and again. No one came by. I heard the voices start to fade. Did they leave? Am I going to die? Who was there? Why didn't that titan kill me? I

I started coughing a lot I felt something come out of my mouth. It was blood wasn't it. I coughed for another couple of minutes until I felt hands on my shoulders and a lot of shaking. I tried to open my eyes but I felt some blood drip from my forehead. Something wiped across my face, a piece of cloth maybe. I tried to stand up again. My eyes fluttered a bit and I noticed my sight start to come back. I managed to stand up a bit but my legs still wobbled a bit. I held onto the tree. When I finally got all my vision I saw three figures. "Y/n?" One of them said. I saw who it was Jean, Armin and Reiner. "S-sorry about that." I sighed. When I took a closer look I saw that some of them were injured "Are you guys ok?" I asked.

They looked at me then Jean nodded. "What happened to you." Reiner asked. "I ran into a Titan, the female one. She didn't kill me, my horse was squashed and the spare one was taken." I answered. They looked at me "we had a run in as well." Reiner finally said. I sat down and started to bandage up my head. When I looked over at them they were shooting off a smoke signal. It wasn't long before we saw a figure in the distance. "That's.. That's Christa!" Armin said. "And she's got two horses." He continued. She came up to us "Are you guys alright?" She asked with a worried tone of voice.
