Chapter 26

Reader POV (one swear word at the end)

We were heading over the wall with our horses. It was early morning but we weren't going to reach the wall until the next day. We stood on top of the wall and looked down. The crowds of people were cheering us on. Some were on rooftops and some were on each other all for us.

We started on our way to wall Maria. I rode beside Mikasa and Levi. We were riding fast. By night we were in a forest. Whenever we came across Titans we were right beside them. I was shaking holding the light in my hand it wobbled around. I felt a hand on top of my hand. "Relax would you," Levi's voice was soft and reassuring. He took my light from me and held it. "S-sorry.." I stuttered. "It's fine, just calm down." He answered. I nodded my head.

"I know this may be the worst possible moment to ask but.." I stopped. "But?" He asked. "After hearing Eren's fathers story I just.." I said looking at him. "We are at the foot!" Someone called back to us. "Just I'll tell you later so don't die." I whispered to him. "You better be alive to tell me ok?" He looked at me getting on his horse.

I put my hand on my pins and got up my horse. "Let's go." Someone called probably Erwin. We sped towards the wall.

As we were on the wall I was staying back with Armin, Erwin and Jean. I insisted on it actually. Eren transformed and pulled up one hole. I stood beside Erwin as Armin came into sight. "3 cups of black liquid." He reported. "Was the pot warm?" Erwin asked. "No it was cold,"

I looked away after hearing that. We were up under Armin's command. Everyone surrounded Armin asking him questions. He gave his orders clearly and quickly. We split up and searched the ruined town. We hadn't located the enemies and one of the holes was plugged. "Check the wall." Armin yelled.

I rushed away before anyone else. Armin was smart he knew what he was talking about. I started tapping the walls. Trying to find a spot that was weak. Nothing yet but then I heard it. It sounded hollow. "There is something here-" I was cut off. I saw Reiners face appear out of the wall. I managed to move out of the way slightly. But I was still hit. Levi came out of nowhere and sliced his neck. I held onto the wall for my life. I got up the wall and looked around. There were Titans all around. The beast Titan I think they called it. It had just thrown a Boulder at us. I held my hand on my hip. I had been sliced. Shit how would we get out of this one.
