Chapter 10

Reader POV

Annie and Eren were running to the wall. Eren ran after Annie as headed for level ground. I stayed a bit closer but at a safe distance my mind was still thinking about why she had spared me all those times. I had befriended her, sure but we weren't even that close. I watched them both fight, they were brutal.

  I looked around and saw Jean, Hange and Armin. I flung myself over to them, "This looked bad." I said as if they didn't see that. "Yea.." Armin answered. I stood a bit behind Jean hiding from any blasts coming at me. They looked terrifying but this was what I had to deal with. He bit off her nape but a blast came flying off them.

It was a warm blast but it didn't hit me to hard since I was behind Jean.

Annie had been surrounded by a hard crystal no one could break through. I sat down beside her and put my hand on the crystal. It made a small dent but it stopped after a second. I pulled up my hand, my skin had come off on the sides and the middle was coloured a light blue.

  I stood on the edge of the room listening to the conversation Erwin was having. I wasn't sure why I had agreed to come in but I was here wasn't I. After the meeting had ended I went to the roof. I took off my pins and held them in my hand. I put my hand up towards my heart. "We did it guys, we took her down." I whispered while looking up at the sky. I let out a soft sigh and smiled.

I walked up to Jean to ask him what he was thinking earlier. "Hey! Jean, you know earlier you were thinking about something else what was all that about?" I asked him.

His face went super red "N-nothing, it was nothing." he said hiding something.

I went right up to his face trying to get his attention. Nothing I got absolutely nothing out of him. "Oh cmon. I won't tell anyone."

I started trying to bribe him. "Fine but it really doesn't matter if you tell anyone or not." He said more confidently then before.

"Ok now tell me!" I laughed. "First person there gets to kiss me," he repeated my words, my face went bright red and I put my head down.

"Wanna know who made it there first?" He said. I nodded slowly. "Your looking at him," Jean said. I looked up and laughed. "Alright if that what you want." I whispered under my breath. I walked up close to him and placed my lips on his. He opened his eyes wide as if he didn't know why I had kissed him.

Jean POV

I told Y/n what I had been thinking about earlier. She came right up close to my face and put her lips on mine. Her lips were smooth, soft and warm. She closed her eyes while I opened mine. I didn't think she was actually gonna do it. I relaxed myself a bit but i was still a bit tense. She didn't seem to mind that this was really happening. I was dancing on the inside but on the outside I didn't show it. We stayed there for a minute and then she pulled off. "How was that 'horse face'," she laughed at me. That was the first time I had heard that name in a while. "It was just fine 'miget'," I said back to her. We looked at each other for a second and then she burst out laughing. "S-sorry it's just a bit funny." She said through tears. I smiled at her "it is isn't it," I said back.
