Sana sits in front of the mirror, dressed in a stunning white lehenga with heavy golden embroidery work. Her hair is tied into a bun with white flowers. And the most exquisite diamond adorns her body. Dadi looks at her and with misty eyes, she smiles at her, "Meri Bachi. You are looking so beautiful." Sana just stares at her reflection and shudders at the thought of getting married in a few minutes to someone she utterly hates. She has no other options, she knows. Her last hope was Dadi's cell phone which she had stolen from her bag and gone to the washroom to call Ashmit. But the call couldn't be connected.

The door opens after a knock and Martha comes in. She says, "Madam the car is ready. Sid Baba has asked you to leave now in the car with your Dadi. He will meet you both directly at the wedding venue." Sana looks at her and asks, "Where is Sumit?" Martha does not reply and Sana repeats her question. The elderly woman looks at her and Sana could see hatred for her in her eyes. Her hardened face softens in a flash and a smile appears. She then says, "Your brother has already left with Peter. Don't worry for him. He is in good hands." In a moment again that smile disappears as she says, "Please Madam. It's getting late. Sid Baba does not like delays." After she leaves, Dadi says, "This woman seems to be here since ages. Maybe she was Sidharth's governess, that's why she calls him Sid baba while other's address him by his full name. Hmm.. Acha chalo. It's getting late."

The huge terrace of La Mère International has been decorated resplendently with flowers. The infinity pool lies at one end and at the extreme end is a stage where two chairs are placed. Dadi looks around, mesmerized with the arrangements, "Bahut khoobsurat hai sab kuch." Sana remains silent as her eyes search for her little brother. Suddenly someone hugs her from behind. It's Sumit, "Di you are looking so pretty. Dadi I am so happy, Sidharth bhaiya will marry my di. It will be simply awesome."

In no time, the terrace gets filled with many unknown and few known faces. Few people that Sana could recognise are some big businessmen, few big politicians and some managerial staff of the place. The guests mingle among themselves and wait for the groom to arrive.

Sana is lost in her thoughts about her future when she feels a tap on her shoulder. She looks at her side towards her brother whose eyes are stuck at something in front of him. Sana's gaze goes towards the front where she finds the crowd move away and a tall and handsome man walks towards her.

Sidharth Raichand wears a white Bandhgala Jodhpuri suit over tight white pants and white shoes. A white turban on his head and a pair of sunglasses. In his neck is a sting of white pearls and near his chest is the pin, the black rose lapel pin. He looks nothing less than a prince from any fairy tales. For a minute she forgets her hatred for him and gets lost in his looks. The next instance, her eyes fall on the men walking behind him. That brings her back to reality.

Sidharth comes up to the stage and touches the feet of Dadi and hugs Sumit. He sits on the chair beside his delicate bride. He brings her face near her ears and whispers, "You never listen to me. I had told you to smile, show everyone that you are happy. I am missing your smile darling. Don't make me use violence on such a happy day." Sana turns towards him and before she could say anything he calls, "Peter, take Sumit and show him the pool. The Infinity pool. Sumit have you seen it? Just go and see how far are we from the ground." "No. please Sumit.. No..", she screams with horror in her eyes. Sumit unable to understand anything stands there. Sidharth whispers, "Smile sweetheart. Don't forget we are on the 20th floor." He then says, " Sumit, your sister wants you to stay beside her. You go later." Sana smiles at him, trying her best not to show her actual turmoil that is going inside her mind.

Kabir chacha comes and puts his hand over the heads of the groom and bride. He smiles at Sana and says, "Allah aap ko khushiyan de." and stands beside Sidharth as the wedding starts. A pandit starts the holy fire and the rituals begins. Dadi performs the Kanyadan, then they do the phere. Pandit ji asks Sidharth to put the sindoor or vermillion in the parting of her hair. Sidharth looks at Kabir chacha and smiles at him. He whispers in the ears of Sana, "Husband is supposed to give some gift to his wife after the wedding. I am a very good husband. So your gift is coming up in a second. But remember your promise to be a good girl and keep smiling or else.. You are wise enough to know better. " Sana looks at him and he signals her to look ahead. Kabir chacha nods his head to the men who move away and from behind come a man.
