"Who is it? Meet tu hai?"

Sidharth could see her now as she turned towards him. She must be the same age as Richa, a few years older perhaps and must be beautiful when young. Her hair has been tied neatly into a bun. She wears a chiffon light pink saree with tiny flowers printed on them. Her eyes have a fixed gaze, staring right at him. She blinks several times and then stares directly at him again. On her face is an unusual smile.

He has seen her before. But he doesn't remember where.

She walks up a few steps to come face to face with him. She tilts her face and keeps staring at him. She then extends her hand towards him and he stands there frozen.
A flash of memory of a woman extending her hand towards him comes to his mind.
She touches his cheek and a cold wave passes through his spine. That touch is not unknown to him. He is now sure that he has seen her before. But he still doesn't remember anything clearly.

"Raghuvir? It's you?"
He doesn't reply but stands there unmoved. He wants to run out of this room. But his body doesn't support his mind.
"No. You are not him. Your eyes..they are different. They are kind.. like Richa's. "
He stammers,"Wh..oo a..rrr..e y..you?"
And she smiles,"Raghuvir, see someone is here to meet you.. yes he looks so much like you."
She looks behind and says,"Raghuvir, you can't hide anymore. See, someone is here to catch you.."
She starts to laugh, covering her face with her hands.

Then she stops and removes her hands. Her face is fierce now. Eyes are red and the smile has disappeared.
"Who are you? Raghuvir? No. You are not him. You have kind eyes.."
Sidharth whispers," I have seen you before.. who..are you?"
She smiles again with the same fixated gaze,
" You are his son. Aren't you? "
She cups his face and says,"Yes. You are. You have his face and her eyes. I hate them, I hate her. "
She smiles, "Don't you remember me, Sweetheart? It's me, sweetheart.. it's me.."

"No... no...."
Sidharth shakes his head, a strange feeling gripping him. She looks behind as if there's someone there.
"You sent him to kill me. I know Richa. Raghuvir, tell her to take her son away or I will keep him, forever."
She is hallucinating.
She starts to laugh and suddenly jumps for his neck, grabbing it tightly. For a woman of age and frame, her grip was far more stronger.

Sidharth removes her hold and pushes her away. And flashes of memories come into his mind. Guns being fired, blood, dead bodies, his father's laugh and her staring at him with that strange smile.

A doctor comes and sees them there, he asks,"Who are you people? Yahan kya kar rahe hain? You are not allowed to meet the patients. Don't you know? Has anyone gone inside? She is dangerous. Basant, Raja, Philip, come quickly."
A few men in white uniforms come and the doctor goes inside with them. They find Sidharth pushing the lady away from him and coughing, running his hand over his neck. The doctor signals the men to hold the lady. She becomes difficult to control; and the doctor gives her an injection. Sidharth immediately gets out of the room, breathing heavily.

Kabir looks at the door as he is about to fall down. Peter and he, holds Sidharth.
"Are you alright?"
Sidharth doesn't reply. He just stares back at the door. Kabir orders,
"Peter, hold him, let me check.."
"No.. no.. l..let.. let's.. go..now.."
Kabir nods his head and they help him on his feet.
"I..I am.. f..fi..fine.. I can..walk.. let's go.
I said.."
They leave him and he walks putting his hands inside his pockets, avoiding his gaze till he sits in the car.

Sidharth sits on the floor of his room, holding his head. There are nail marks on his neck. Kabir touches his shoulder and he looks up.
"Are you feeling better now?"
Sidharth nods his head and lowers it again.
"What happened there?"
Sidharth stays quiet. He had no idea what to say.
"Who is she? Do you know her?"
"I.. k..kn..ow her.. I k..kn..now her.."
"Who is she?"
"S..Someone .. whom we.. th..th..thought to be dead. But she.. she is alive.. she.. "
