The car moves at a good speed up on the winding lanes of a hill. Sana sits silently staring at the road. She is still shaken by everything she saw. Seeing someone dying is scary. She still shivers seeing that image of the brain bursting out of his skull. And to top that up she has to live with a constant fear that Sidharth might someday surely kill Ashmit. She can't see anyone dying anymore because of her. And she can't in her wildest dream see Ashmit dead. But what can she do? She does not know the reason behind Sidharth's anger at him. She doesn't even know her fault for which she is being punished everyday by Sidharth. And the more pathetic thing is she can't even ask him.
The lane takes a turn around a huge stone wall ending at a gigantic iron gate. The car stops in front of it. Sana could only see darkness ahead of the gate. A shiver passes through her spine thinking about the possible dangers that awaits for her in this darkness.
Sidharth smiles as he could sense the fear in her. "Are you thinking where are we? Right?", he says then bringing his face near her ears, he whispers, "There is ..a.. big.. graveyard.. behind..this gate. I have brought you here to shoot you and bury you.." Sana stares at him and he brings out his pistol.
He puts the gun on her forehead and says,"Are you ready to die darling?"
"Sid..harth..", she says without blinking.
"Sidharth Raichand..You are really one stubborn girl.. Where were we? Yes I was about to pull the trigger. Don't worry it won't hurt. Chalo I am counting for you. One.. two.." Sana shuts her eyes as he pulls the trigger.
Instead of the sound of a bullet, Sana just hears a click sound. She opens her eyes to see a smirk on his face,"You really believed I would kill you so easily. No sweetheart!" He rolls down the window and presses a remote. The gate opens. He starts his car and as he goes through the gate, slowly the lane starts lighting up. Sana could now see a pebbled road leading through big trees and flower gardens. There is a big fountain in the centre and past it stands a ginormous mansion.
Sidharth stops his car and gets down, "What are you waiting for? Get down!"
Sana slowly opens the door of the car and gets down. She is about to go to the door when she hears,"Hello Madam! Where do you think you are going?"
Sana turns to face him and he points at the boot of the car,"Apna suitcase leh ke jao. Here there is no servant for you to carry your luggage."
She goes near the boot and tries to lift the big suitcase placed inside. It's heavy but she tries hard to pull it out. Sidharth stands beside her, amusingly watching everything. Sana puts his hands on her waist. Sidharth pulls out he bag from the boot without much effort. He closes the boot by taking out a small bag. He moves towards the door not bothering to lift Sana's suitcase. She gives out a deep breath and starts dragging her luggage over a few stairs to reach the door.
Sidharth opens the door and turns on thought. He is followed by an amazed Sana. It is a huge living space with L-shaped sofas arranged around a sophisticated centre table. The space is decorated with dark pieces of furniture and assesories and there is a magestic chandelier hanging from the ceiling. Staircases from two sides lead to the first floor. There are doors at one side that are locked. At one end is a long dining table and next to it is an arched entrance to an open spacious kitchen.
Sidharth says,"Your room is on the first floor. First room to the left. If you are hungry, make something for yourself now. The pantry is stocked with everything. But eat in your room. I am having a meeting here tonight. Don't come downstairs."
Sana nods her head and looks at the stairs. She knows she can't expect any help from Sidharth, so she proceeds towards the stairs. She starts pulling the suitcase over them, to take it to her room on the first floor. Sidharth watches everything with his hands in his pocket and a smile plastered on his face.
Sana is huffing by the time, she reaches the top of the stairs. There are four doors on this floor and a sitting area in the centre. A glass door leads to a balcony outside. She drags her bag to the room he had mentioned, first room on the left. The door is not locked, she pushes it to get inside. It is a standard size room with a big bed, a wardrobe at one side, a nice dressing table and a cupboard with some books and show pieces inside. Sana sits down on the bed with a thud and takes out her handkerchief to wipe her face.
