Mother? Sidharth Raichand's mother was here to meet us. Where was she all these time? Auckland? But why? Sidharth hates her, it was so evident. She has hurt him in some way. He said she killed her own husband and left her son to die. But she doesn't look that sinister. She looked so..loving and charming. He addressed her Mrs. Ahuja. She has got married to someone. Maybe that's what he hates about her. She left him to be with her husband. This pain has perhaps made him so bitter.
Sana thinks sitting in the living room. Sidharth had immediately left after he had disclosed the identity of the lady. He had ordered her to leave him alone. Sana too didn't go after him as she knew he could do just anything to her. He was in a bad mood, the devil on him could go as far as kill her for disturbing him.
Her chain of thoughts were broken with loud crashing noise from the first floor. She looks up and she hears another loud noise. It was coming from Sidharth's room. She thinks whether she should go or not. But another similar sound was enough for her to make up her mind. She took the stairs and reached the first floor, in front of his room.
Sana knocks at the door, "Mr.Sidharth Raichand? Are you alright?"
She cracks open the door to find it in a mess. Furniture overturned, vases broken and curtains and pillows torn.
She opens the door and manages to enter the room. "Sidharth Raichand? Are you alright?"
"Just f**k off! F***off!", he screams.
Sana could see him sitting behind the bed on the floor. She carefully goes towards him, 'I will leave. I am just here to check on you. I will leave once I see you. Don't scream at me. Please."
Sidharth starts to laugh and then slurring he says, "Check on..me? Really? Who are you.. My mother? "
Sana, still scared of him, jumps around the broken and strewn pieces of glasses to reach the other side of the bed where Sidharth was sitting. His head facing his chest, his shirt unbuttoned showing his tattoo, the fallen angel and sleeves rolled up. He holds a bottle of alcohol in his one hand. A few other bottles roll on the floor near him.
Sana takes a step closer as he sings the lullaby, "You are my sunshine, ..only my..sunshine..
You make me.. happy.. when skies are gray
You..will.. never know.. dear, how much.. I love you
Please.. don't take my..sunshine away.
You are my sunshine.."
Sana says, "Sidharth Raichand? I think you have drunk too much. You must stop drinking now. Please."
He says,
"Rok na mujhe aaj..
Nashe mein mujhe rehna hai...
Dard jo dil mein chupa hua hai..
Usko aaj kam karna hai...
Takleef hai bahut..
Sukoon hai kam..
Sharab mein doob kar..
Mere anjaam tak pahunch na hai...
I can't stop.. I just can't. By the way who are.. You? My mother?"
Sana comes closer and she could now see blood on the floor, dripping from his hands.
"Mr. Raichand, you are bleeding! You are hurt."
Sidharth starts to laugh, "Yes.. I am hurt.. I am bleeding. I am.. I am in s..oo.. Much pain.. I am..bleeding."
She forgets her fear and immediately kneels in front of her, holding his hand.
"Hey! Why are you touching me? No one.. touches me. No one...Who..Who the hell..are you?", he asks, lifting his head.
Sana forcibly removes the bottle out of his hand as he screams again, "What the f**k? Leave my bottle.. Leave. Who are you? My mother?"
"No! I am no one. Now just leave the bottle. You are not drinking anymore.", she says with authority.
Sidharth looks at her face,"No you are not my.. Mother.. She left me.. Left me to live in the hell.. hell..You are.."
"Leave the bottle Sidharth Raichand. Leave I said.", Sana screams at him.
