Shehnaaz knocks at the bathroom door but gets no response. There's no sound coming out of the room and he has been inside for a really long time. Worried for him, she bangs her hands on the door, calling his name. When she finds no reply from him, she goes to the dresser and opens the first drawer. Under a few boxes of artificial jewelry, she pulls out a key and goes to the door. She unlocks it and goes inside. But there's no sign of him there. She looks around and gawks at the bathtub out of shock.

She runs towards it and finds him under the water. Panicked, she dips her hands inside trying to lift him up. Sidharth opens his eyes and comes out immediately, breathing heavily.
"Are you alright? What the f*** was that? Are you drunk? Were you trying to hurt yourself again?"
Shehnaaz throws a volley of questions.
Sidharth wipes his face and runs his fingers through his hair.
"What the hell is this? How did you come in?"
"Sidharth Raichand, you aren't drunk then what were you doing under the water?"
Sidharth gets out of the water and wraps a towel around himself.

Shehnaaz grabs his arm, "I am asking you something."
"You never learn. Don't you?"
He removes her grip from his arm and stares at the door with the key hanging.
"You made a key! Why? To spy on me? Can't I spend a few minutes in peace anywhere in my house?"
"You know that was not the intention."
"I don't care. You are getting on my nerves right now. Why did I.. "
"What Sidharth Raichand? Don't stop! Why did you do what? Marry me?"
Sidharth runs his fingers through his wet hair and stays silent.
Shehnaaz comes to face him, "What happened, Sidharth Raichand? Nothing to say."

"Shut up!"
"Why should I? You can't make me shut up every freaking time. I am your wife not your puppet."
Sidharth rubs his temples and says, "I didn't mean what you understood."
"You never mean anything but you still say things. Yes, I made a key. I was scared for you. Do you remember you had started a fire in the bedroom and tried to burn the whole house and yourself along with it. And the time when you had slit your palms breaking the mirror in here. You were bleeding yourself to death. Perhaps you don't remember these incidents as you were sloshed the both times. But you had locked the doors and I had to ask Peter and Ibrahim to break open them. I made duplicate keys to ensure I open the door myself rather than waiting for them. You stopped hurting yourself these days and I had forgotten about it. But today you were not responding. I was scared for you. If you wanted to stay alone why didn't you say so? I think you were right, you should not have married me. I will not learn. I will not stop asking questions or talking to you or disturbing you. Not until I die.."

Sidharth grabs her wrist and pulls her closer. Clenching his teeth he says, "Just shut up! Shut up! Bahut jyada bolti ho, Pata hai na? How dare you say that? How dare you! You have to live with me forever. You have to live for me. Samjhi tum! Your life is mine. You are mine. If you ever say that again, I will burn down everything."
Shehnaaz touches his cheek, "Then why do you keep becoming the old you?"
"I.. I don't want to but.."
"I was worried. You know that. Why do you do such things? And why do behave so rudely with me? Why?"
He pulls her into his arms and stays silent.

Sidharth comes out and finds Shehnaaz standing in front of the mirror, combing her hair. He slips her arms around her waist from behind.
"I wasn't saying what you understood. I was asking myself why I listened to you and came home. I.. should have been at the office for some time. I just wanted to.. be alone.. I.. "
His words trail off.
"Why? Why are you so stressed?"
He leaves her and goes to the chair.
"It's just.. work."
She comes closer, "You were under the water for I don't know how many minutes. You were trying to hurt yourself. Don't tell me it's just work."
"I wasn't hurting myself. I was just thinking."

She, unable to understand, asks, "What? What do you mean? You were under the water and you were thinking. Seriously?"
Sidharth turns to face her and gives her a soft smile.
"I was. When you are under water, everything goes blank after a moment. It might not be simple for others but for me.. it's relaxing. I can think clearly then."
"Ajeeb ho yaar tum! "
"There's nothing normal for me."
"Hmm.. did you find Ashmit?"
The smile disappears from his face, "No. He found us."
"Hun? What?"
