After Kevin took Gabriel to his house to rest up the others showed up for a surprise meeting. Gabriel was still resting on the couch when the meeting began. Wayne was leaning on the wall in the corner with a scowl on his face as Adrian and Alex relaxed on the couch. Kevin stood in the middle of everyone
"So, you guys know why we're all here?" everyone sort of shrugged or showed a confused look. Kevin sighed "These god damn spirits are so cryptic, I wish they would...". Just then a knock sounded on the door, everyone looked at the door simultaneously in silence. Gabriel snored now and then only adding to the atmosphere, another knock sounded which prompted Kevin to answer. He opened the door to see two girls, one he remembered from the clearing yesterday. It was Aurora, she wore a blue skirt and even a lighter blue cardigan. She had dirty blonde hair, tan skin, and a teasing smile. The other girl behind her was Hispanic and looked like she hung out at car meets. She had plenty of tattoos on her arms, wearing a leather jacket and a black beanie. At a loss for words, Kevin stuttered a bit
"Wh-Wh-Who are you two?" Aurora smiled teasingly
"I'm Aurora, I was at the clearing last night...you know when you sort of lost control and fought everyone" Kevin looked at his shoes and scratched his head embarrassed
"Ahhhh, I think I sort of remember seeing you now..." Aurora pointed to the girl behind her
"This is my best friend Sapphire" The hispanic girl smiled but like Kanye, it was a short-lived one. She looked like she was from a 2000's skateboard cover. Especially with her beanie that said bite me, Kevin snapped out of his thoughts and opened the door further
" Ahhh okay, I'm Kevin come in; maybe we can figure out why we're have a meeting so late" The girls came inside and sat on the couch while Kevin began getting drinks. Before he entered the kitchen Wayne pulled him to the side with a disgruntled look.
"Why did you step in my way earlier today? You ruined my whole plan" Wayne hissed, Kevin rolled his eyes
"What do you mean? I saved you from doing something stupid" Wayne got closer to Kevin as his eyes went all black
"I'm sick of you always thinking you know what's best for me" Kevin frowned and let his electricity show in his eyes
"Do you think that you could defeat Gabriel the way he was? Your weakness is light and guess what? He was minutes from becoming the sun" Kevin pushed past Wayne "You always claim to be an analyst but, you didn't analyze shit" Kevin walked into the living room with the drinks to hear everyone talking amongst themselves. Aurora was fast away explaining her powers
"I can mimic spiritual powers, invisibility, and I summon spiritual swords" the room was in awe
"You can do that?" Adrian asked. Aurora smirked then made electricity float around her hands
"This was what I picked up from him yesterday," she said casually. Everyone was shocked (hehe get it?). All of the noise was beginning to wake Gabriel, soon he yawned and stretched a bit before rubbing his forehead. Imprinted on his forehead was the impression of a quarter. Kevin held back a laugh
"How'd you sleep George Washington?" he asked with a chuckle, Gabriel shook his head
"Like a baby, what happened?" Kevin explained how he deposited a dollar into the forever bank of Gabriel. He started chuckling at the thought
"Damn, taken down by quarters...That Railgun move is badass" Kevin nodded
"Honestly it surprised me too" Aurora seemed interested
"Railgun?" she asked confused, Gabriel finally noticed her
"Uhhh yeah, it's Frylock's newest move" Sapphire rolled her eyes
