Fighting Spirit (The Final Barrier)

Battle of Paris Part II

Gabriel and Jay disappeared in a blink of an eye as their battle commenced, Sapphire took a deep breath and continued throughout the debris ridden streets towards a growing malicious energy. She also sensed two weaker energies Ramona and Sofia, that must be them. Sapphire thought, she continued her pace while she thought of how this might go. I could very well die in this fight, I've grown in combat but; there's no telling what'll happen. She thought back on the words Kevin said to her about death "Don't worry I'll always be there to protect you" He said. Sapphire frowned as she quickened her pace Why? I don't need to be the one protected here.....I need to protect myself! she thought. Transforming her hands and feet into paws she entered an intersection where she saw Ramona and Sofia unconscious leaning against some rubble. Standing atop of some cars Teresa sneered down at Sapphire

"Well, look who showed up"

"I'll kill you again so you'll stay dead this time" Teresa hopped down from the wreckage of cars and smiled

"How about you-" Quickly Sapphire grew in size taking a large step forward before simultaneously shrinking down to cover the distance between them in almost no time at all. Caught off-guard Teresa fired a spiritual attack the swirled with tendrils of purple, though she was too late as Sapphire dodged her attack with ease as she shrunk down. She then grew in size again to add force to her uppercut that landed cleanly on Teresa's chin, stunned Teresa flew back into the car wreckage. Seeing another chance to attack she then jumped up in the air and grew in size once more to add to her weight, Teresa rolled out of the way just before Sapphire's feet smashed what remained of the cars. Teresa looked at what could've been her and grimaced

"You bitch, you almost squashed me" Sapphire kicked the cars in Teresa's direction

"That's the point!" she yelled. Teresa hopped out of the way of the cars and summoned a staff as she hovered in the air.

"I'm done playing around" she said. Since Sapphire is sensitive to spiritual energy she immediately felt the presence of Teresa's attack from the sky. looking up she saw as several purple portals opened at once, after a bit all of the portals expelled meteor sized boulders. Seeing this she shrunk down to try and be less of a target, and locked her eyes on Teresa. She's a ranged fighter, like Ramona; I just need to get in close. Sapphire, watched as the boulders smashed all over the area creating a barrier between her and Teresa

"I'm going to punch you dead in your jaw" Sapphire said with a confident smirk, Teresa smiled as well

"You can't even get close" she said.

Meanwhile Kevin was activating his new ability "The Four Elements"

"State Two Rock" he said, Kevin flexed his muscles and a twinge was heard as his body hardened and got a bit denser. "I'll tell you this once more, leave me alone and you won't have to die" Skayei squeezed his fist as he tapped into more of his power, the wind grew restless as he felt the same way he did fighting Q. His pupils dissipated and his hood flew off exposing his dreads, Kevin watched on His spiritual energy is rising but, it feels different......Is it just raw spiritual energy? He, asked himself. When Skayei was finished he held his head up towards the sky for a moment

"Are you done powering up? This dragon ball shit is annoying" Kevin said, Skayei didn't respond he just growled animalistically. Kevin sighed He's completely lost it, I guess taking him out would be mercy at this point. Exploding off of his back foot Kevin dashed forward then immediately swung his fist with all he had, Skayei seeing this also swung but; Kevin weaved at the last second to deliver a right hook to his body. As the clean hit landed Skayei was thrown back with tremendous force into a nearby building. Kevin kept his unenthused look and continued walking into the building "I've been training this new technique for a few months now, stronger attacks; explosive attacks even" Kevin looked around the smoke and debris that was kicked up "I still wish you'd leave me alone, it's not too late" Kevin looked around but there was no reply, when suddenly from behind Skayei pierced through the smoke at blinding speed to deliver a glass shattering blow to Kevin's jaw. The punch was clean yet something was off, Skayei was shaking as he tried to make Kevin move yet; he didn't budge. He looked Skayei in the eye and sighed "Along with stronger power, this technique grants me stronger defense as well" Kevin grabbed Skayei's wrist and squeezed it "Maybe i didn't make myself clear" he barked, Kevin kneed Skayei in the stomach knocking the breath out of him then grabbed him by the throat with his other hand. "You won't leave here alive!" he said as a lightning bolt hit the building blowing the building the two were in up in a flash of blinding light. Elsewhere the art was battling the artist, Gabriel had the advantage with sheer power but; Jay had illusion magic and if given the chance he would definitely try to deal a fatal blow. Gabriel thought a moment I can't really go all out, this city has already sustained enough damage as it is. He glanced across the city as a lightning bolt lit up the sky. He's way stronger than what he' s showing right now, shit if he can do it I can. Gabriel hovered in the air a bit when a spear was launch his way, he caught it and burned it in his hands. He looked down at Jay who was smiling
